Annabelle Archer Collection Books 1-4: Annabelle Archer Wedding Planner Mystery

I have it a 5 Star Rating because caught and held my attention from chapter 1 till the end. It was funny but mysterious. You can't tell what the next book in the series could be but you can't wait to jump into the next book. All the characters are believable. It's a must read. Thank you Laura Durham.

Four thoroughly enjoyable stories of murder and robbery against the sometimes chaotic backdrop of weddings and bridal shows.Having been in the bridal industry myself, I particularly enjoyed the story set at a bridal show. It brought back memories of the craziness of the pre show set up and the crush of hundreds of giggly brides.The characters are fun and the mysteries are all very cleverly developed. Clearly the author knows DC really well so the reader feels like they have visited the places described.I definitely recommend reading these books.

I'm one of those guys who watches the bonus features on DVDs, so when I saw that this box set had a couple bonus epilogues I decided to get it. The short vignettes give glimpses into Annabelle and Reese's early relationship and are fun to read.

A wedding planner and her odd group of friends get more than they bargained for with weddings. Each wedding has more happening than a lovely wedding. Usually a dead body or two. Our wedding planner always gets involved with trying to solve the crimes. Her assistant gets involved as well as the crazy 80 year old neighbor down stairs. Lots of humor. I recommend this group of books!

Lots of luck, knowing just the right people, and a bit of smarts helps these two wedding planners solve the murders that just keep popping up around them. Annabelle, Kate, Richard the caterer best friend, Fern the hair stylist to the wealthy, and Leatrice, the nosy but sweet elderly neighbor manage to gather clues that the police can't while always ending up in hot water themselves.A bunch of wacky characters which makes this a funny series too.

Well-written, with well-developed characters and a splash of reality! Living in the DC area, I recognized the different areas described in the book, including Georgetown’s parking limitations, so felt more involved in the stories. I even looked up the restaurant and the bridal store named in the books, and found out both were actually real locations! Highly recommended!

I thought these stories were really good. I didn’t figure out the murderer until the end on all but one of them and I was still surprised when the husband was in on it too. I really enjoyed reading these stories. I thought Leatrice was a hoot and was so hoping Annabel and Detective Reece would have a proper date or at least a kiss. Maybe in the next story. Great stories

These stories are entertaining and filled with action, adventure, mystery, and humor. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this box 📦set a FREE copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

The blurb says "Annabelle Archer is D.C.’s premier wedding planner", and inside the book you are told this often - yet she proudly wears cheap, polyester suits and is proud of not combing her hair? Really. What person would hire this disaster to plan a bin raid, never mind an expensive wedding. Her assistant wears clothes suited to a 'lady of the night' and clients watch to see if her bosom will fall out or not. Again - really?And that is the good part. They find a dead body at a wedding and the assistant is more interested in sleeping with a policemen on duty, and Annabelle decides she is better than the detective. However, she decided, one by one, everyone she comes into contact with is DEFINITELY the killer. Truly terrible. I couldn't manage more than one book, and that was a real sufferance.This is like one of those ghostwritten books where people offer $20 to someone to write them a series of books, but the person can write, they just can't think of a decent story.This story was painfully bad. Might suit a 4-year-old, as that was the level of the conversations and intellect of the characters.

Easy reads. Likeable and funny characters. A few twists in the stories too. Recommend for a light hearted read. This bundle is worth paying for to get the feel for the series. :)

I totally loved and enjoyed reading these awesome collection of books. There are lots of time I cannot put my Kindle down, because I want to find out what happens next. I love each characters, they all have contributed to make these novels such an exciting read.
