I needed a 1-to-5 splitter for use in my torchiere lamp, and this seems like it will do the trick nicely!The package arrived in a timely manner, and seems to be adequately-well constructed. It seems to have a good distance between the arms and the center socket, so I am confident my LED or CFL bulbs will fit just fine.Overall, I am satisfied. It is a great product for the price.However, I'm deducting 2 stars from my review because the product description says:"Package includes 5 adapters Bulb Lamp Socket Enlarger Candelabra to Standard (medium) bulb adapter"This was not the case. Mine arrived with only the 1-to-5 splitter in a bag.This is not a deal-breaker for me, since the splitter was what I wanted. But the claimed adapters would have been nice to have, as I was thinking it would be nice to try candelabra-style bulbs in my lamp.In addition to this review, I'm reporting the description for incorrect information.

I moved recently to a new apartment and the dining room fixture was a simple light bulb recessed into the ceiling & it looked ugly. So, I ordered a standard light bulb extension and this device to replace the ugly light bulb that was in the new dining room at my new place. It was very easy to install....basically just install it like a light bulb....insert 5 standard sized light bulbs in the 5 sockets and flip on the lights....that's it. My new place dining room light fixture may not look fancy or classy...but at least it works and looks considerably better looking than a simple big CFL bulb. Also, 4 of the 5 sockets swivel around for customized lighting angles. The 5th center socket is fixed and don't swivel. Also, it's white in color to match most ceilings. Would work well enough in places that you have a simple light bulb socket in the ceiling that you want to upgrade or replace. 5 stars I rated this product....nothing wrong with it and works good enough for me!

This fixes lighting in my whole garage from a single socket meant for a standard incandescent. I put four 12-W LED floods in it, and it lights up the entire place, shooting beams to every corner. With a slightly lower lumen in the bottom slot you avoid glare. Highly recommended for all such uses where the result doesn't have to be under some small ornamental lens or shade. Just fill it up with LED directed floods, plus a normal globe LED, and let your imagination go wild.

Just put 11 of these in my garage, with 100W equivalent LED bulbs. Tested each in a lamp with a Kill-A-Watt meter, and each worked perfectly, and ran at 75W total. Quality is far better than I expected. The structure is much more rigid than it appears in the photos, and is made from what clearly appears to be a glass fiber reinforced plastic. The sockets however are a little too lightweight/flimsy in my opinion, (hence the 4 stars) but with LED bulbs in them, you're not likely to be replacing bulbs often, and therefore also not likely to be wearing them out anytime soon. I'm extremely happy overall, as it saved me the hassle of swapping out to different fixtures, and/or expensive high output LED bulbs.

Recently had our basement finished and closed off a section to be used as storage. Needless to say there was one light bulb socket and the bulb didn’t do too much in terms of lighting the space up. Came across this product and purchased instantly. Added light bulbs to it and screwed it’s in. What’s great about it is each individual arm has some play in it so you can direct where you want the light to shine. It has made a night and day difference (literally) since installing it and I no longer have to bring a flashlight with me to try and find specific items in storage. Would definitely considering purchasing another one for the atticBottom line is this product is top notch for basements, garages, and attics where additional light is needed

Doing some painting work in a small room with only one ceiling light, in the middle of the ceiling. Light was insufficient and also didn't illuminate walls very well. I put a bunch of lightbulbs into this, and now there is tons of light, and the walls are brightly and evenly lit.If you're shopping for work lights for renovations, I would consider this instead. Very inexpensive and illuminates a small room very well without the need for specialized light bulbs - 5 houshold LED bulbs give you 4000 lumens, equivalent to a 300w incandescent, but only using a mere 45 watts. The ability to aim the light is nice as wellIf you need a ton of light, you could use these with 23 W leds, giving you around 12500 lumens at 115w.

I purchased 8 of these to use 5-100 watt equivalent LED bulbs to replace a 500 watt bulb. It works great but I did get 2 defective adaptors with one bad socket. The company sent me two replacements after I contacted them.

Work great for multiple LED's. I have a few table lamps that I proffered that they were brighter, but its hard to find an LED that is very bright without becoming very expensive. The lower wattage LED's are MUCH cheaper. Yes this does add some cost, but multiple lower cost lower wattage LED's look better to me than one expensive super bright one and the shadows are less harsh. Doesn't work in all my lamps as its pretty wide.
