KJV Chronological Life Application Study Bible (Hardcover) Hardcover – Illustrated, October 1, 2013

I own a few study bibles. This is the best study bible I have found. This year I'm reading and notetaking in my ESV Journaling Bible, but next year I will be using this one with a notebook for my notes. There is so much helpful information packed in one place. There's character profiles, chronological timeline information, charts, graphs, maps to go along with the section you're reading (you don't have to flip to the back to find it), there's pictures to keep you interested. It really helps me to understand what I'm reading and I love it. I use it as a resource for my study and it will be my main bible next year. I also bought one for a friend. I give this 5 stars and recommend it highly.

This is a great combo of chronological and also a study bible that has actual application and not just study notes on historical items. I wish it was available in a version other than kj and nlt

I have purchased several of these Bibles as gifts. There is so much information as far as maps, charts and study notes. The chronological order helps you learn the stories in a new light, especially the Gospels. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a new perspective on the Bible.

I LOVE the little maps and explanations of the Bible story as I read! Having maps to show me what the landscape looked like as people journeyed is *so helpful* to my learning and understanding of what I'm reading!And the small explanations given throughout the stories helps me to understand what I'm reading even more! So much so that it makes me want to read more! And that's just what I need! ^_^They also have this available on the Bible Tecarta app, so you can have it on your phone too! I love it! :D

Definitely the most important purchase I have ever made.The annotations are specific and direct, not drawn out and many times providing evidence to back up any claims it might make. The annotations serve to grant you more perspective as to what is going on in the story that might not be picked up on. It does this by informing you of customs and traditions that were culturally accepted during the time that each of the books were written in.Tyndale's study bible does a good job in clearing up possible misconceptions by providing sound evidence that is placed across other books of holy scripture.The introduction of this study bible is a reflection of what this study bible might aim to do; not to force the bible to mean something that it doesn't otherwise state. While the book might not have every possible explanation, it certainly has enough to get anyone on a proper path to understanding the vast amounts of divine wisdom that The Bible has.If you are looking the pursue higher knowledge of scripture, in my humble opinion, this a great option.Remember, all wisdom comes directly from THE LORD himself.God bless you all.

The best Study Bibles by far, in truth Tyndale is one of the only few bible I trust that sticks to tradition but optimizes the bible. Excellent bible for visual readers, and readers that easily become bored by all the black and white books out there. Full Color just as promised, filled with Chronological Charts and Biblical organized according to historical events of the bible. This bible is far more superior than any other bible out there, that the reason it's so pricey, plus there's commentary and broken down description of understanding events, philosophy, and biblical figures. In addition, direction is more precise in clear and Charismatic direction at the end of the bible to fill your strength of the word. I love this bible! There's no better King James Version study bible out there that can top this one. Every person of faith looks at my bible with a little envy wondering and asking where I've brought it from, trust me when have this bible in particular in your possession, they'll do the same to you! You want become bored because it's so visual and that worth investing in because many bible's are only black and white, which in science matters tires your eyes because the brain becomes fatigue with all the other black-white books you read. There's only one Problem and that is the Hardcover is more easy in tearing!

Definitely one of my favorite Bibles. All the colored pictures and maps make the Word of God come to life, and the study notes help apply it to your life. There is also a timeline that shows what date the events occurred. The only problem I have is that the King James Version is harder to read due to the Archaic Language, but this is the first time I ever owned a KJV. I also didn't want the NLT because I heard it is a faulty translation. I wish they had NKJV, NASB, or NIV, but overall I am happy with what I have. I would recommend this Bible if you want to read it in Chronological order, and if you're used to the KJV you will love it.
