It is a bit tricky to install, and as other reviewers have said, once you get the track screwed into the wall, it can be tough to get the door onto the track the way they suggested, so I did it the other way, which is to put on roller in the track and hook it to the door, hook the other roller to the door, then slide that roller on the track. I have a fairly light door, and it glides smoothly, not sure how it would do with heavier doors because it is just a nylon type disk, no ball bearing. Otherwise pretty nice .

Light weight and easy to install.

Overall, I would recommend this for ease of install. This is a great alternative to barn-door style doors. We were able to install this in a doorway that was flush against a wall, something that's impossible with barn doors. The fact that you can drill your holes anywhere along the track was very important for us, as we live in an old house with non-standard stud-placement. We ended up drilling 2 additional holes besides the studs and using drywall anchors, just to make it more sturdy.Track itself is very lightweight (aluminum) yet strong. No special drill bits for the holes are req'd as this is a soft metal.-1 star for the unclear instructions that were included. Their instructional video on YouTube made much more sense. Also, I found it impossible to clip in the door to the sliders if the sliders were already on the rail (as the instructions directed). Instead, I clipped the sliders onto the door before siding the door onto the track. This made things much easier.Overall, very pleased with this product and I highly recommend. Johnson just needs to clarify its instructions to make it as idiot-proof as possible.

I like the fact that just about any solid door will fit into the metal mount. I didn't like that the directions weren't clear enough for a novice like me. However, with a little help from a self proclaimed handyman, the track was installed and the door was attached almost effortlessly. I am not overwhelmed by the "metal" look but that can be easily concealed by just painting the metal itself to match or compliment your wall color. NOTES: be sure to position the door mount track stops on the door so that the door opening is not blocked by the actual door AND the stoppers are placed so that they will support the weight of the door. (Placing the stops - one on the end and the other about 8 -12 inches away on top of the door being installed worked for me) If the stoppers are too closely together, the door will "drop" on one end. Also, if you decide not to center the track so that you can take advantage of a full 30 or 36 inch wide opening, it may look off center so painting the mount or adding a cornice along the entire wall would be my suggestion. Otherwise the mount will just look like a big ole metal thing above your doorway.

This was easy to assemble and install. I did have to use a piece of wood under the fixture to keep the door far enough away from the door casing that it wasn't bumping into it. However, each door is different and you might not have this issue. I especially like the fact the door's floor guide was attached to the door frame, and not the floor. We used a piece of old baseboard, stained it, and then glued it to the front of the barn door assembly instead of shelling out for the pre-made wood coverings they sell. It has helped open up a bunch of room our poorly designed mudroom and bathroom area had taken up by the bathroom door.

Perfect product allowing low clearance BUT this seller NOT including correct heavy weight wheels as advertised! LUCKILY I called the maker of barn door and they were aware sellers not including correct wheels so they sent me correct wheels no charge. Before it was not easy to move door and made loud noises- this seller advertising wrong! Thankful glides now that we replaced wheels and easy fix❤️ Great owners!!!

We live in our RV and have built another bathroom off the bedroom door. The RV door was hard to open and interfered with the ceiling fan we installed in the build on so we pulled it and put this in. Last night was our first night with the door we hung on this and it was great! The slide is silent and easy, so nice when one of us gets up during the night and we don't have to hear the RV door slam to shut. Install was easy and quick. The item came quickly, just took awhile for us to get our room ready for the install.

The wall mount pocket door hardware is good quality and was a perfect fit. I truly love the look of the finished project.I would have given it FIVE stars if the instructions were more clear. I needed the instructions to offer a better list of tools and parts needed. Also, it would have helped if they were more step-by-step detailed. I felt the instructions were aimed to the "seasoned professional" with an assortment of tools rather than todays "do it yourself guy". I have done enough do it yourself projects & figured it out, but was a bit frustrated during the process of installation.
