Power Systems 83596 Club Mat, Jet Black, 56 x 24 x 3/8"

I discovered this brand of mat at the local gym. They are the best combination of density, grip, light cushioning, and texture for workouts on the floor. Even on a hard floor they provide enough of a barrier to make it comfortable. However on concrete or tile you may still want additional cushioning depending on the exercises.

We love this mat much more than your average “yoga” mat. It has great cushion without being thick, and doesn’t slip at all. Doesn’t squeak if it gets sweaty, easy to clean. It’s kinda hefty and doesn’t roll tightly, but that only matters if you intend to transport it. Would definitely be a 5 star purchase if not for the fact that the lengths are slightly off. These are both the 56” mats, but as you can see, the manufacturer’s machines must not have a standard cut. They look a little off kilter when we leave them out. Function over form though, and for that, these mats can’t be beat!

I bought this to put under my walking treadmill (see my other reviews!) and so far I think it's working well. I have no complaints from my downstairs neighbors and I work at home so I'm on it a lot.If I were to get another one, I might even go thicker, as to lower the noise level even more.
