The Little Flower: The Story of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (Saints Lives)

I have this book to my 8 year old on her First Holy Communion. She loved it and can’t wait to read more from the same series.

Buy this for a child but read it first. It is wonderful!! I have read a lengthy biography of St. Therese and believe Mary Fabyan Windeatt captured the best of this saint to present to children. After reading this one I bought all of this writer's saint books so I can read them prior to giving them to children on their birthdays.

I like that the book was easy enough to read. It was an old copy published in 1944 so a little age worn.

One of the best resources for younger people looking for inspiration! Book is in great condition!

My Mom wanted this so I got it for her. It looks almost identical to this picture and is apparently a good read.

My daughter loves all of Mary Fabyan Windeatt's books. This is no exception. She's a wonderful writer for elementary school children. Even into junior high. I've used these books to create puppet shows for younger children as well (using the dialogue). One of the best writers for Saint stories!

If you have not read these stories with your children, you are missing out. I love all of Mary Fabyan Windeatt books because they encourage reading and help children grow in virtue....total win.

Exciting true story! I've read Story of a Soul, and thought this was a good children's version!

Very good book... I was looking for books on the lives of saints for my 6 year old....most books took out the best part's of their lives(many don't even include the miracles) and that makes it boring for children,but Mary Fabian Windeatt's books are a class apart.

Mary Fabyan's series of books on the Saints are a must addition to Catholic homes
