While it's the same size filter and will replace those that I have. I have not installed it, and most likely won't for several months. However, I do not recall anywhere in the listing that the item was "Made in China". Maybe my mistake - we will see how it lasts when I do install it.Did install - and it didn't make it 6 months - filter material fell apart. ???

Right product, but arrived damaged.

Be advised that this is a 3rd party filter, and not the one pictured. I have been replacing filters for our pool every few years, and each time the filter looks different. The one I received does NOT have the better orange rubber material, and instead has a much thinner blue rubber gasket on the bottom. I wanted the one that has the orange gasket on the bottom. At least the construction looks better than the last one.

Aqua Kleen is an inferior filter. I bought two at one time. Within 2 weeks, the first would not filter well after running the pump for a LONG time. I opened the element container to find that the rubber base had split and water was bypassing the filter element. The second would not filter out dead algae after a LONG period even using clarify This filter element only removes money from your wallet! Stick with OEM products!
