Need Outlets (front & back) & long power cord...!
I have to say, this is a very good surge protector for the money! I have been reworking my setup, due to the fact I needed rearrange my TV, sound system, & recording studio, to make the room more open & less cluttered. So I figured I am going to need another one of these surge protectors, w/ a prior brand I bought prior (Pyle - very good.), to essentially "split" the left & right side of my TV, sound system, & studio. And this CyberPower is exactly what I needed! I am quite pleased that this device has the outlets in the front & back, so certain devices I do not have to plug & unplug frequently, can just plugged in the back. Meanwhile, devices I don't need plugged in all the time or only need them for temporary power, get to plug into the front of the rack mounted surge protector (ex. Laptop, cell phone, MIDI/distortion/effects pedals, etc.) I also has used my condenser microphone through a preamp, which is plugged into the CyberPower - No sound issues, such as "hissing", low noise, or crackling. Works quite well! I added a photo which gives you an idea on the size & shape, versus the other equipment I have in my standard 19" rack, along with it being rack mounted as well. You can see some the front ports being used - very handy to have. I hope this may help in your shopping decision & experience.

Best high quality rack mount surge supressor
This is an excellent rack mount surge supressor. High quality build. I use 2 of these for my front of house live audio system with a console, wireless mics, iem and antenna systems. I also use this for my lighting rig controller which is computer driven via artnet to dmx. Best product on the market for sensitive electronics!

Works great powering my small network rack
Solid metal casing, with outlets front and back, and feels and appears very well built. Good specs, with a good surge protection rating. A great edition to my rack.

Appears to be well made. I can't say how effective the surge protection is.
Fits perfectly in my 19" rack, and works well. I would suggest to the manufacturer that the front outlets should be rotated 180 degrees so that the ground pin is on the left. Why? Because power cords with "flat" plugs will have the cord exiting up instead of down if the ground pin is on the right. You want the cord to exit down to avoid a sharp bend, and also to avoid interference with any unit mounted just above the power strip. With straight plugs it doesn't matter which way it goes.

Good to have the tangle gone
I've been putting off installing a real power strip on my server rack because thing have slowly migrated from the desktop where they were already plugged into surge suppressors, so the surge suppressors have just sort of followed them into the rack. I finally got sick of the tangle of chords and installed this power strip. It has a really nice combination of plugs and spacings that really clean up the back of the rack from the previous tangle. The plugs are spaced wide enough for things like the cable modem brick that takes up way more space than it rationally should, while still providing enough plugs for all my equipment. Its a good combination. This power strip has worked well. It hasn't been tested by a surge yet (or hopefully ever), but it seems to be doing the job quite nicely. The only thing that would have been a really nice addition would have been some bolts and nuts to attach it to the rack. I had enough from other projects laying around that it wasn't a big problem, but be forewarned, this does not come with screws, bolts, or nuts for mounting this into a rack.

Buena Regleta.
