It’s been really hard finding a bark training collar for my 5lb-er and had to return some of them that mentioned for small dogs but really wasn’t because of its bulkiness heaviness, and scary looking prongs that has to go snug on his neck. This collar works perfectly for our little guy as it is not too bulky, no prongs, lightweight, easy to use and rechargeable. It’s been difficult training as he gets worked up fast for neighbors walking by, for doorbells in real life and on tv and we r not always close enough to give him a physical nudge, and the “Pssst and no!’s” aren’t very effective he keeps going on. This collar is perfect, sets off a beep the 1st bark and it stops him in his tracks looking for cover. Adter second bark it’s supposed to beep longer, after the third it vibrates and so forth, we have yet to experience the subsequent alarms as the 1st seems to do the job. This product was perfect for my tiny guy and would recommend to anyone looking to bark train their tiny dog.

Update: changing to 1 star from 3. This collar still won’t stay tight on its own. Had to rig it up. And now my little yorkie is used to the vibration. It doesn’t hurt or scare him. He barks through the beeps and vibrations. I took it off him since it no longer works as I had hoped. Now my kids, even the young ones aged 3 and 4 blow into the sensor to make it vibrate. They put it on their neck and talk and laugh. It tickles. Wish I could return it but I tossed the package unfortunately. I’m out 32$. I regret this purchase!! Bought this for a 6 pound yorkie. The collar won’t stay tight. So it don’t pick up his barks. I’m disappointed as I had high hopes. I do like how light weight it is and prong free. Which is why I bought this particular collar. Wish I could figure out how to keep the collar tight.

This collar is definitely a great training tool and it actually works. The warning beeps are clear and the vibration is a further reminder without causing any harm to the dog. The only issue I have, is that my Pom has learned to growl/whimper just enough not to set the collar off but still drive us a bit crazy. For dogs that are barking loudly, this is a great training tool, just be advised that it only works on actual barking that is loud enough to set the collar off. If your dog has a faint bark that is more of a growling noise, this will not work.

These are great collars. We bought two for our little dogs and they work great. Sometimes they go off when they roll on the ground, but the most of the time they work well. Comfortable when wearing, and easy to turn on and off . One charge lasts a long time. We like that! I would recommend if you don’t want your dog to be a nuisance to your neighbors. They are very humane as it is just a sound, and the dog learns to bark less.

I have a new 7 pound terrier mix who I'm able to take to work with me. I can't have her barking since it disturbs my coworkers too much. Sometimes if other dogs come around she gets too excited and barks a very shrill bark. After hours of searching around for a good solution, I decided that the Goodboy bark collar seemed like the best value. I was not disappointed! After just one time of feeling the vibrations, my dog was so perturbed by the sensation that she immediately stopped. From then on, the warning tones are enough to get her to stop. It never goes past one bark. She has pretty much stopped her excited barking at work even when I forget to put her collar on! It's been almost two weeks since we started using it. I am SUPER pleased with this product. I know not all dogs respond to it but I'm soooo glad mine did! The size is not too big. Its easy to charge and use. My only complaint is that I have heard it go off a few times from other dogs' barking. Not too big a deal. I'd highly recommend you give this a shot if you need to stop your small dog from barking.

So I bought this automatic bark collar for my 9 pound shih tzu poodle, and I initially loved it. It was small and buzzed when my dog barked without hurting or scaring her. For such a little dog, I thought this was perfect. After a couple months, the collar no longer works. It will only beep when my dog barks really loudly but won't pick up on her normal barking even on the most sensitive setting. It's up to you if you want to give it a try, but be warned! Original post: Full disclosure, I've only had this collar about a week, but it is amazing so far!! I have about a 10lb shih tzu poodle mix. The plastic part is a little big on her, but the collar fits well and isn't heavy. I've only charged the collar once since buying it. It doesn't have big prongs on it like the ones used on bigger dogs, which I really like. She didn't need much because using a water spray bottle already worked for her. The problem was that we couldn't get to her in time to give her instant feedback when she barked and sometimes she gets nervous and pees when people run after her. So we got this collar because it beeps instantly after my dog barks. She doesn't like the beep, so she usually only tries barking once before she gives up. The collar has progressive steps in which it beeps longer and adds a vibration as the dog continues barking. My dog has only had the vibration go off once. I tried the vibration on myself, and it only feels like a really strong phone vibration. It feels icky but doesn't hurt at all. It's very safe and effective for my dog and the house is already so much quieter. We have two dogs that bark. This bark collar on the little one has caused the other to bark less as well because they don't sympathy bark anymore :) Overall, great collar and worth the money! At least since the week I've had it...

My dog Lily is an 8yr chihuahua x Jack Russell (3.5kg). Shes quite nervous around bigger dogs, so when I’d take her to the park she would constantly bark at other dogs (even when they weren’t near us) With this collar she will bark once/twice but then will quickly stop and calms down. The beep sound reminds her she’s not to bark and gets her attention back to focus on good behaviour. I have been using this collar for 6 months and It’s been a lifesaver! Easy to charge and very durable. I’ve been able to take Lily to the dog park and she doesn’t spend the whole time barking! It’s humane and safe for dogs to wear.. I love this collar!!!!!
