Actually holds 60 even if you use your own existing capsules. I ordered others that claim 50 but thats only with thier super flimsy capsules. This package has higher quality capsules and accommodates my existing capsules.

I have bought coins that have arrived in Air-Tite capsules/tubes, bought other capsules/boxes and now have tried these. Air-Tites are great storage, they hold the silver dollars securely without movement with well-fitting foam and given how difficult they are to open, I can truly believe they are actually airtight. Their drawback: they cost $1.25 per coin. These holders are smaller, they fit 60 in a box, and the coins do wiggle around a bit, even with the foam. But I am buying these holders to contain coins that, while I am buying them for their silver content, if they have lasted almost 150 years in pretty good condition I don't want to damage them now. The little wiggle is not so important, and even if I were to ship them, they are far more protected than the 20 coins I just received that rubbed against each other the whole way. And with the various inserts, I can store other silver coins from dimes on up in a uniform holder and box to give them protection and displayability. And this protection costs me about 17 cents per coin, and it comes with a plastic storage box. These are the ones I will continue to buy for my coin storage. If you are buying expensive collectors' coins whose value depends upon keeping them in AU/BU condition, then Air-Tites are worth the money. But for lesser, and/or a variety of coins, these provide an excellent option.

These came exactly as described. Capsules were a little difficult to open which shows they were good & not cheap ones that just pop open (as I've have had happen before with others & wouldn't stay closed). The foam inserts worked great with the rounds I bought to keep from banging around when shipping. Very happy with this & it works great for what I need.

I see some reviews mentioning that some particular coin doesn't fit, most of those reviews are for the 30mm capsules which obviously are too small for silver coins of 1 oz or similar ones. As always happens in Amazon, people order stuff without reading the specifications of an item and without measuring what they have to see if it will fit. Don't blame the product, blame yourself for not using your common sense. Now these are Excellent capsules, I bought the 41mm ones since I mostly buy silver 1 oz coins and I can tell you they all fit well. All them arrived perfectly, no cracks and they close perfectly. The foam insert they have can easily be separated in precut rings for different sizes or you can cut them to adapt them to whatever you have. American Silver eagles fit snuggly, no need to add foam. Australian kangaroos have just a little play, nothing that bothers me but it can easily be solved by adding foam. Canadian silver maples, British silver Britannias, SA Krugerrands, plus most of the 1 oz silver rounds need the foam inserts to make them fit tight. I even manage to put 3-1/10 oz silver rounds in a single capsule and secure them with foam. Just have a look at the pics. In the future I will test the 2 oz coins on them. Good quality at a great price, problem now is to fill them all.

This is a nice coin organizer. Easy to open. Some reviews complained that they were hard to open. Read the description. I didn’t and struggled to open but then I read the listing describing easy open at the half moon.(paraphrase) Along the edge is a spot where the edge is indented like a half moon and if opened at this point, easy. Not sure how many coins this fits …. sorry.
