Best wah pedal
Excellent product but I got a dud. It happens and they were very nice about replacing and fixing the issue so I gave 5 stars.

As sweet as I remember...
Sounds as sweet as I remember, just like the crybaby I had in the 50 years ago Its solid, well made, and loads of fun! I tried it with my Tele. Strat, and LP. All sounded spot on.

Every guitarist should own one
I've been playing for several years now but I've never gotten around to owning a Crybaby wah wah until now. I must say I'm greatly impressed. The one I got is Revision J which I believe is the latest one right now. Although the original crybaby is not true bypass and does not come with the red fasel (Included on the Crybaby Classic, 95Q, 535Q and so forth) however I've read that Original Crybaby's (GCB95) from Rev. H onwards do come with them, and I can confirm my set (Rev. J) does indeed come with one. Despite not being true bypass, I do not hear any noticable tone loss. I guess Dunlop has improved the bypass circuitry over the years. Controls are simple, an on/off toggle switch (Activated by stepping all the way down, may be a bit too hard to press at times) and then you just rock the pedal back and forth. No fancy volume or tone knobs, just rocking action. Simple, yet effective. Built quality is outstanding except the bottom base plate which is outrageously thin. But that shouldnt be an issue since your pedal is going to be on the floor/pedal board anyway. Its pros more than outweigh the cons, this is a pedal EVERY guitarist should own.

PHENOMENAL!!
One of the best Wah pedals on the market. Great for beginners and equally phenomenal for pros. Buy this pedal. You will not be disappointed!!

Tone Sucker, Nevertheless a fantastic pedal
While the functionality of the wah itself is top notch, it has a noticeable impact on your tone even when it’s in the off position. It seems to suck out some mids or something I can’t really put my finger on it but it kind of sounds like if you were to kick the pedal on, and then find the most neutral position on the rocker. It’s very minor though, just something that should be noted. Also, it kind of sounded funny in front of all my modeling amps, but it sounds amazing in front my EVH 5150 tube amp (I play a lot of hard rock and metal, think Alice In Chains and Kirk Hammett). With my tube amp I’m able to replicate Hammett’s wah-drenched fills in Enter Sandman, and Jerry Cantrell’s solos very well. It should just be noted that for some reason it just didn’t sound right to me with the heavy distortion tones of the modeling amps.
