I have broken my Ford Key FOB twice. They are VERY expensive to replace, and have re-programmed. Now when the third one broke, and was always falling apart, I tried to keep it together with tape, and was fearing having to buy yet another one. Then I found this, and thought, will this be what I was looking for?It arrived yesterday, I unpacked it, and after inspection, I was super happy. I put me Key FOB back together and slipped it into this cover. It very snugly snaps into place and now my Key FOB will never fall apart again. Best of all, it looks great too. I saved having to buy another Key FOB. This is a real money saver. I love the looks, and the ring on the bottom allows me to hang it on my key ring with my other keys.This is a great product that really looks great as well. It is very good quality, it functions perfectly, and my Key FOB is only slightly bigger making it practical too. I give it 5 stars.

The fob for my Ford Edge broke into multiple pieces when dropped. While I was able to replace the fob case with one purchased on Amazon, it was not an easy process and I would like to avoid it in the future. Considering a new fob is now over $200, I though a skin like this would help protect the fob. This fits tightly and covers both ends and the sides. While the shiny red took a little getting used to, it makes it much easier to find the brightly colored fob now, and it matches the car as a bonus. I am an actual buyer, and am satisfied with the product, and would buy it again.

This key fob cover for my Ford Explorer fit over my broken remote key fob perfectly. This is a simple fix to an all too common situation. My key fell apart not long after purchasing my vehicle. After numerous failed repair attempts, the pieces went a drawer and we now used the second/spare key. It was a bit stressful to utilize the spare key, but the alternative was to lay out nearly $300 for a replacement. I wanted to keep a backup key on hand and Amazon had numerous vendors selling these covers. The first on purchased was a nice bright metallic blue...easy to locate! The blue cover is still fine after manipulating it to change the battery. I thought metallic blue color sleeve was perfect until the spare spare fell apart and I purchased the black version. True perfection... it looks like new! And it stretch over the fob even easier than the blue one did. The key, after it was pushed together, fit inside just as described...like a glove! Definitely worth the money!

I think it is overpriced, but it definitely works as described. I actually believe it looks nicer than the original. Easy to fit original keyfob parts into shell and that is exactly what it is-a shell. Bought it on Amazon and very happy with it. Took away a star because of price. It seems to be cheaply made, but looks good.

I have a 10yr old car with keyless start. The battery in the fob has been replaced a few times, so the original plastic case is not as securely snapped together as when it was new. I dropped it the other day and it popped open. It was able to easily be snapped together and work, but that's when I thought of getting a case like this. This doesn't add much bulk, holds it together securely, and cushions it if I drop it again. Just what I wanted.

The metal hoop is not held in well and will break off. This cover has kept that from happening. It fits very tightly.

I bought this after my keys kept falling apart. You know how they do after you put a new battery in. It would fall off my keychain or fall apart at the worst times and I'd find half of it on the ground or at the bottom of my pocketbook. This solved my issues. It is like putting a wetsuit on it, as it is just stretchy enough but is worth the struggle because it fits like a glove. I had to take the little metal part off my keys -but that kept falling off anyway. This stays on my keychain and looks cool too. It is easy to find on the key rack at home too because of the color. I chose the blue and love it.

This is a cover not a replacement. I was actually looking for a new housing to move the internal components to. For one of my FOBs this was a great choice. For the other which was cracked and broken it was not.

Like many other that own a Ford vehicle with this fob..eventually the loops holding the top part broke apart and fell off. Glue did the trick for a while but it fell apart again. Both of my fobs suffered this fate. Found this cover and it's sturdy enough that I'm confident it won't break without the top part of the fab and now I can keep my fob with my keys again. So happy I discovered this.
