My husband fitted this in a matter of minutes, it is a little shorter that the one we replaced but that is not a problem for us. It was a great price and the quality is fine for what we needed, it has been used daily for a while now with no issues at all.

Dose the job just fine not too end quality but great for the price - delivered 10 days after estimated window but I'm putting that down to the C19 debacleGood kit works fine

My application for this light fitting was not for standard use, I have a fire effect unit in my fire place which had the old element style threaded bulbs which are no longer available, my first mistake was to just try to fit modern bulbs but unbeknown to me were the wrong voltage so I replaced both fittings and got 230 volt power supply connected to 2 of the above fittings, they were easy for me to adapt and do the job perfectly..

Does the job as expected, no issues.

The build quality is abysmal. The plastic looks and feels cheap. I would forgive that, but gently screwing the Live and Neutral wires caused the plunger pins (that make the connection with the bulb) to fall out. Checking the pins showed that in each case the screw thread on the pins were insufficient to screw into the connector. Either a manufacturing fault or assembly mistake. This was impossible to fix and an ubbelievably poor product. As I bought this some months ago, I expect that money was wasted. So, summary, - poor build quality and not fit for its (very simple) purpose.

Obviously fitting depends on what sort of connections you have to work with. I was replacing a 3 spotlight unit to fit a single energy efficient bulb. The markings are clear so you know which wire goes where and the screw fittings are sturdy as long as you don't try and over tighten them.The bulb end is well made and the bulb fits tight and does not wobble in the fitting.I will look at these first when more are needed.
