Good value
I'm a big fan of this jacket; well constructed, adjustable and snug fit, looks good and all for an affordable price. Waterproof: I've rode several times in the rain now- nothing torrential but enough to test the waterproof ability of it and so far I've kept nice and dry. Comfort: I find this jacket really comfortable, it has adjusters at the cuffs, biceps, waist and bottom so you can get a nice tight fit everywhere. I'm 6' tall, 165lbs (long lean build) and I ordered the small and it fits perfect. I'm also able to wear 2 thermal layers and an insulated vest underneath for the cold, which can be a little bulky but not uncomfortable. Temperature ranges: The waterproof-ness is built into the jacket, meaning there is no waterproof liner to remove. In cooler conditions this is no problem, but anything above 80F will slowly cook you alive, even with all the vents open and the zipper down. Especially if you get off you bike and hike a short distance, you will be literally pouring sweat out of this thing. On the flip side I've worn this with the quilted layer, a vest and 2 thermals down into the 30F's and its kept me warm. Basically- not a summer jacket. Other features: the pockets are generous, only 1 zippered pocket on the inside. Quilted liner has a cellphone pocket which is nice. I think a good upgrade would be to add zippered pockets on the side of the lower front pockets. The vents are ok but then again I'm not entirely sure they do very much, as I think they're located on the outside of the waterproof layer. Overall: I think this is a great jacket and very affordable considering the quality you're getting. I look forward to updated versions in the future perhaps with different designs or color options.

Great Fit, Solid Quality, Well Made
This jacket fits great and feels very well made. The quality of the material is solid, and it feels durable without being stiff or uncomfortable. The Cordura textile feels like it will hold up well for regular riding. The CE armor is well placed and adds confidence without restricting movement. It’s comfortable on longer rides and looks good both on and off the bike. Overall, this jacket exceeded my expectations for the price. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, good-quality motorcycle jacket.

Used for 6 months, Good value, but not waterproof or durable velcro
This is a decent jacket and at the price point, I can't complain. However, one issue I have is that it does not fit skinny guys well. I am 6' and 130lbs and bought a medium to fit my arms, and I have to cross the straps in the back to make it tight on me and not flop in the wind. Waterproofness is ok for about an hour in drizzle but anything more than a light rain or road spray soaks through seams and zippers easily. I suggest wearing a rain jacket underneath if riding in the rain. It is warm, for colder days with the liner and sufficiently breathable without the liner, however, the shoulder zips in conjunction with the shoulder pads act like a parachute at 40+ mph (naked bike), so I tend to keep those closed even on hot days. My big complaint is that the velcro on the collar is not very strong and has lost its velcro-ness and does not stay shut well. A few things the jacket does well is the massive amounts of pocket room, warmth, and wind protection. I don't need a backpack, I can fit my whole laptop in the back pocket and phone, wallet, keys, and other misc items in the front. The jacket is warm, I rode it through October down to 20* F with the liner in and several layers underneath. Wind protection is fantastic, and as long as I layered up, I have no complaints. Pros- Warm (with liner) breathable (without liner) good pockets somewhat water resistant good value Cons- Not as water-resistant as the company claims does not fit me well (personal gripe, it may fit you) Not super durable velcro not super comfortable Poor vent placement Overall, good for the price, but you get what you pay for. It is a good budget option but if you have the money I suggest you buy a more reputable brand/higher quality jacket.

Buy it ... Buy it now!
I will call this preliminary because I have only had it a short time and cant comment on its longevity. However ... This jacket is at very least the equal of similar ones I looked at costing $150 and more. Lets start with ... I was overwhelming impressed when I received it. It has pockets galore interior and exterior and like a truly thought out touring jacket the tops of the exterior pockets fold over before being velcro'ed shut so absolutly no rain can get in there. There is even an interior pocket labeled phone! There is a heavy zipper and then a strong hook and loop flap that goes over it. The hook and loop is the good stuff that sounds like you are tearing a phone book in half when you undue it. The jacket has a whole series of straps that help to custom fit the jacket. At the waist, across the biceps, at the wrists, at the bottom of the jacket and at the neck. What seemed like a formless jacket when I took it from the box looks like a tailored jacket after some strap adjustments and I must say .. I think the jacket is awesome looking and I look good in it. It is built to fit a variety of body types among a particular size. The fabric is the same nice tough tight fabric I saw just last week costing $200 at the cycle shop. Its tough and I think it will survive a fall just fine but what I discovered today was .... It really really really keeps the wind out. It came with elbow, shoulder and a back armor. There is also a somewhat thin liner that can zip in or take out and a whole host of vents. Today was cool for AZ at about 49 degrees with blustery wind when I went out for an 80mile ride. The ride was almost all highway at 70-75mph. I wore a simple uninsulated standard weight long sleeved tee shirt and the jacket with lining. I was very warm!! Were I still back in NYC maybe I would have gone for a sweatshirt and I think it is all I would need because the fabric and all the closures do such a good job of keeping the wind out you dont feel cold. I would have included a light scarf because I couldnt get the throat strap quite tight enough to seal completely. Outside of that it was awesome and I feel comfortable that I can ride down into the mid 40's with just that T shirt here in AZ. I swear I dont know how they can sell this jacket at that price but I would buy one before someone figures out a mistake was made!! I would right now buy another just for backup but am still losing weight and am afraid it might not fit in a year. It is really that good!! For those gauging size. I am 5'9 and 195lbs and even though I am an old guy I still have a somewhat athletically shaped body with a 45in chest and 37 inch waist and not much belly. The Xl was perfect. At my chest size I would have been uncomfortable in a large and certainly wouldn't have been able to fit a sweatshirt or vest. Like I said .. the jacket will work with different body types but you are married to the armpits and I could feel anything smaller would have been to tight. Awesome awesome jacket and greater value.

5'11" 220 XXL Fits and Looks Great
Initial review: I am 5'11" 217-220lbs. I am normally an XL. However, I ordered the XXL. The XXL fits great. There's plenty of room if I want to wear the liner and my heated jacket underneath the shell. When I remove the liner and use just the shell it still fits great after cinching it down with the adjustment straps. Something I really like is it more relaxed in the shoulders and arms. My Andes drystar is awesome and 100% waterproof. But the drystar jacket is European so it's a-little tight in the arms and shoulders. The material feels strong, not cheap. I was expecting lesser material given the price. It's also lighter than expected but still heavy duty. Looks great. Solid Jacket. I will report back after riding in all conditions.

Great price for high quality
This is a high quality jacket for a fraction of most jacket prices. Extremely happy with thec quality. It's warm so not really a summer jacket.

Nice jacket at a great price!
This is a quality jacket for the price. When a company puts out a product and offers it at a great price, it does itself a favor because customers will return. I am 5’9”, 175 lbs, 42” chest, 32” waist. I purchased a medium and it fits great. One of my concerns was the length of sleeves being too long. The medium has a perfect length for me. The jacket is well made, very comfortable, and appears to have decent protection. It comes with a decent interior liner and has kept me warm in high 40 degree weather. This jacket gives me the comfort to be able to concentrate on the road and tactically maneuver out of bad situations. I will return to this company for product purchasing because they put out a decent product at a decent price. Definitely recommend this jacket based on what I received. UPDATE: April 25, 2020 I have worn this jacket on all my rides and still quite satisfied with it’s performance. Very comfortable and great quality. The weather has been in the 50’s to mid 60’s and it kept me warm. We just had an unusual warming trend that put our temperature at 100 degrees. I took the liner out and found that this jacket is not for warmer weather. I was sweating quite a bit. In the jackets defense, it is not mesh and, I believe, not designed for warmer weather. This will be one of my winter jackets. I still recommend this jacket for the cost and quality.

Size is a challenge
The jacket quality is good. The material seems to be able to effectively repel water for a time. By no means is it waterproof. I know because I rode my bike with it on during a rain shower. The jacket did keep me warm with the internal liner. It was about 43 degrees F. The size is the concern. I usually take a 2XL but the jacket is very tight in the shoulders, in the waist it is fine but if I had it to do again order at least a size larger to accomodate.

Fantastic value jacket
On first impression of the HWK jacket, it looks robust and well made. I put it on and immediately felt comfortable. Adjustments on the waist and arms give you plenty of options to set it up right. The air vents are positioned well and there are plenty of pockets both internally and externally. My only complaint is that the zipper for the pants don't match and I'm unable to connect the pair...which is quite weird. Other than that, a really great jacket that I'm looking forward to wearing on my adventures.
