GZYF Motorcycle Motorbike Front Windscreen Windshield Shield Screen Wind Deflector with Bracket for Yamaha 2013 2014 2015 2016 MT-09 (FZ-09), Tan

Great once installed but there are a few issues which need to be resolved. This has the potential to be an excellent product and affordable windshield for the FZ09.1) The product was well protected from external damage but there was little padding between the bracket hardware and the shield itself. I have slight marks on the interior of the shield.2) There are no installation instructions. Please see my picture for bracket orientation.3) The fit is slightly off. Either the shield has more curve or the bracket angle is a little off. It required significant flexing to connect the bolts. So much that I required a second set of hands to complete the install.

MOUNTING HARDWARE IS LIKELY TO FAIL YOU. and I don’t mean the brackets. The threaded rubber grommet has to be the worst engineered way to mount the shield to the bracket. I spent 1.5 hours until I gave up and just zip tied it to the bracket. All my rubber growers snapped in half rendering them useless. If your sanity is worth saving $100 go for it.

Loved the product when it arrived well packaged. I didn’t read the description and ordered it for my 2019 which it does not fit. Shame cause it’s a good item.

For the price this windshield works perfectly. Looks good and functions as it should. My only complaint is that it needed bent outward to fit the bolts into the brackets.

Junk. Cheap hardware that breaks before you can even get the windscreen on because it’s not made right and you have to put so much effort into bending either the shield or the bracket. Do yourself a favor and spend some money on something good.
