Wish I would have gotten a mason jar with a wide opening instead since I bought it for salad prep.

UPS carefully checked the “open package”, thought it was minor damage. But it was ok when I opened the box. $16 for 4 jars, no complaint. You get what you pay for.

I really like these but did read a cautionary review about not pouring hot bacon grease in them. Let the grease cool first of the bottles will separate at the lower seam. I understand that the lids are to be replaced but I have been washing and reusing them without any problem. However, I do not use a pressure cooker.

The standard Ball Mason jar here displayed is exactly what you get: a sturdy glass jar with a screw-on top that can be sealed. Packaging was great, no damage to jars, and all have been put to good use since!

These were perfect!! There were a couple of minor dents on the ring part of the lids but nothing that effects use!

These jars were a great quality. We did not use them for canning, but rather as a base for centerpieces. They were perfect, and arrived quickly. We're pleased!
