Great value luggage set — lightweight, smooth rolling, and easy to use
Picked this up for travel with the family, and it’s been a really solid set for the price. If you’re looking for something functional without overspending, this does the job well. Mobility (big plus): The spinner wheels are smooth and make a big difference moving through airports. Rolls easily in any direction, even when fully packed, which takes a lot of stress out of traveling. Weight & handling: Lightweight but still feels sturdy enough for normal travel. Easy to lift in and out of the car or overhead bins without feeling bulky. Storage & layout: Good amount of space inside, and the compartments help keep things organized. The expandable feature is nice if you need a little extra room on the way back. Durability: The hard shell holds up well for typical travel use. It’s not heavy-duty premium luggage, but it handles normal trips without issues. What I like from a practical standpoint: • Easy to maneuver through airports and hotels • Lightweight and user-friendly • Good value for a luggage set Handle & zippers: The telescoping handle works smoothly, and the zippers feel solid without catching. Minor downside: The shell can show scuffs after use, especially with airline handling — pretty typical for this type of luggage. 2-month update: Used on a couple trips so far, and everything is still working well. Wheels roll smooth, and no issues with handles or zippers. Bottom line: If you want a reliable, budget-friendly luggage set that’s easy to travel with, this is a great option. Not luxury, but very practical and gets the job done.

Review after 10 years of use.
Review after (10 years of use.) Purchased in 2014 An honest review by a person who: "Uses things, as they should be used." After almost 7 years of heavy use on international flights, with various connections. And further, the severe "wear and tear" inflected from ground connections (Taxi's, Buses, Metros) at various countries. I can personally say that "This is a Good Purchase, that you would not regret !" Definition: (Heavy use on international flights= I define it as at least, but not limited to; 4 International flights per year Round Trip, with at least 2-3 connections per Trip.) This Luggage has proved to be a great value for the price purchased and has been extremely reliable and durable at airports that are not delicate with luggage. Both pieces are lightweight and manageable for the solo-traveler. The material protects its contents very well and is durable from moments of rainfall. It has never cracked/broken, as other luggage brands of similar material and dimension. The luggage handles are fully functional after 10 years of use, the zippers are still functional, the rubber hinges are now showing signs of deterioration/worn; yet functional enough 30% to travel-with. All wheels and handles are attached and 100% functional. Fair cosmetic condition, given its history and age. I will be repurchasing another as a replacement. I highly recommend as a good investment, as it has proven its quality and value. Attached: Pictures of the Carry On Luggage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Review after 10 year of use and various International Round-trip flights per year for 7 Years. Excellent durability and reliability. Great value for money, functional and lightweight.

For the price, it'd be hard to find something better.
Bought the orange color of this set for a November trans-Pacific trip. Took this set on a month long trip that included flights from California to Japan, Japan to Thailand, a couple of domestic Thailand flights, then back from Thailand (via Japan) to California. Summary conclusion is that they help up very well to some hefty weight inside them, the wheels worked very smoothly, the pull out handles didn't give us any problem (whether pulling or pushing the luggage) and while upon return the outer appearance does look pretty scuffed up and has a large scratch on one of the pieces, I can't blame the luggage itself for that. For the price (~$100 when I bought it), it'd be hard to find something better. Upon first impressions they seem well made and durable. After initially packing it for the trip, the big piece weighed over 50lbs and when holding it by the non-pullout handle I thought the handle was going to break off from the body of the luggage, but it did in fact hold up. After collecting souvenirs along the way, we got the large piece of luggage up to 28kgs (~61lbs) and the handles still were up to the job despite the body of the luggage doing some flexing while being lifted. We got the smaller piece up to about 18kgs (~40lbs). We even unzipped the expander zipper on both pieces in order to fit everything and despite our fears the material exposed in this expander section might tear under the weight and movement of transport, everything was in tact after our long flight back to California. As mentioned at the top, the luggage did have quite a few scuff marks and large scratch/gouge in one area, but given the light orange color, I guess that should have been expected and I don't think that can be held against the luggage. Do note the surface of the luggage is dimpled, so if you're one of those folks that likes to put stickers all over their luggage to help identify it, the stickers probably won't stay on very well.

Great value for the occasional traveler!!
I say great value for the occasional traveler because this is a wonderful set for the price!! This set of 2 got us back-and-forth, flying without layovers, from Ohio to Florida twice with only cosmetic damage to wheels. Severe damage was our third trip. Purchased set July 2022 to fly to our daughters destination wedding. Flew again May 2023 and May 2024. Multiple decorative caps on the wheels did not survive the first trip. One of the wheel sets on the carry-on completely broke, collapsing into the bag, the first leg of the third trip while I was pushing through airport myself. A wheel set on the large bag cracked, almost collapsing into the bag, the second leg of the third trip while we were pushing through airport. There was also visible strain to the zippers after the second trip where luggage handlers had moved the bags and the other half of the shell had shifted during transit. For our third trip, we did purchase support straps that we crisscrossed on the bags to avoid more strain. NOTE: Using our hand scale, and Delta weighing our bags at check-in, they were never overweight!

Getting another one
Fantastic suitcase! The wheels roll smoothly and the case is soft enough that it doesn’t shatter in the cold

Luggage was perfect...until I actually used it!
I bought these in June for an August trip (past the 30 day return window), they had decent reviews & seemed like a good price. Having issues with previous brands rolling really well in the store but then not when they are full, I immediately put some weight in them & rolled them around my house on various flooring types as to not be fooled again and they were great, I was very happy. I set out on my trip & was pleased with their maneuverability through the airport! Baggage claim proved successful & I was off to my cruisetour that included a short small flight a couple days in. Once I received my luggage in my room that evening I noticed a tear near one of the wheels & was disappointed that I would have to return once back.. Next stop was worse, no surprise, but by the next stop 2 more wheels were all but completely torn off & rendered unrollable! Had it not been for my cabin steward who found me a whole roll of packing tape which I incased the bag in for my trip home allowing me to drag it through the airport, I'm not sure what I would have done & certainly my unmentionables would have been strewn all over the tarmac & luggage claim area! One of the reasons I felt safe purchasing was the 5 yr warranty that came with the bag. What a joke! A warranty that doesn't cover "damage by the common carrier" & costs you a $40 handling fee for the company to provide a "warranty evaluation"??? I think we all know how that would play out! Luckily Amazon is the best! A customer service rep was able to waive the return fee & refund my purchase for all but the $28 that Rockland will charge them for a "restocking fee". It cost me $28 & a big headache on my trip but at least I didn't have to pay $40, ship the bag back only to have Rockland determine it was "the common carrier's" fault & give me nothing! if you look through the questions asked section, you will see lots of pictures that look just like mine....So it's not an uncommon problem. Buyer Beware if you actually plan on using these.....
