PROS: (1) STRONG: This tape is amazingly strong considering that it doesn't leave any sticky residue. Even shirts that are small and pull open between the buttons are held secure for the entire day. The tape does not dry out throughout the day--its been my experience that once its placed, your shirt never pops open between the buttons. Would highly recommend for this reason; most fashion tapes I have previously purchased did not prove strong enough to hold tight button down shirts closed. (2) FABRICS: This tape appears to work really well with all fabrics--I primarily use it on tight button-down shirts that are made of 100% cotton, a blend of cotton/spandex, and polyester. I have also used it on dry clean only materials without any issues. (2) NO STICKY RESIDUE: The tape does not leave a stick residue on clothing once its pealed off. I even forget to remove it before placing my shirts in the wash/dryer and it doesn't melt onto the shirt; I have no problem pealing it off after it has gone through the washer and dryer. (2) PERFECT SIZE: These strips are 3 inches in length and 1/2 inch wide. The tape is very thin. I find that one strip fits perfectly between buttons on a button-down shirt. (3) TRANSPARENT: The tape is transparent so you don't have to worry about it showing on a white shirt. (4) CASE: The compact metal case permits the product to be very portable. Fits easily in a purse or backpack. The case also makes it easy protects the tape from being damaged in an office desk. Thus, I find I have an easy time making sure the tape is always available if I need to change into a button-down shirt and suit at the office. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * CONS: (1) PRICE: Since I use two strips per day to hold a button-down shirt closed, its slightly expensive (i.e., about $0.35). However, I think one strip would be more than sufficient if you are only concerned with holding the shirt closed across the chest, which is where shirts typically gap. However, I cut the second strip into small pieces and place it between the other buttons on my shirt, so that I can ensure that I am not exposed. Either way, the cost is well worth the piece of mind that comes with knowing that your shirt is being held securely shut. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * OVERALL: For someone that has to wear business attire and wants to keep their button-down from gapping, this is a PERFECT product. This tape is even strong enough to hold tight button-downs closed, and does not leave any sticky residue on clothing.

These double stick apparel tapes are wonderful! The adhesive is high quality that works on any fabric without damaging it. It also seems to be hypoallergenic and doesn't cause any irritation to my sensitive skin. I love the fact that the tape strips come in a small container that will be easy to carry in my purse if needed.

This is my first time purchasing such an item so other than my experiences with this product I do not have any reference points. I bought this tape for the specific purpose of keeping my tops from slipping via attachment to my bra/undershirt to shirt. I have found other uses such as filling in gaps left by my shorts second layer which has been pleasant. However in terms of the fashion tape use for your shirt, I think it is very important that you have enough surface area available so that when you attempt to attach the tape to your clothes it ONLY touches your clothes. I thought I had been successful in attaching it to my straps at first however it did not align completely therefore it had been rubbing against my skin all day until it just decided to give. And boy did it give at an embarrassing time. When I went to the bathroom to check only one side of the tape was still sticky to my dismay so it was virtually useless. If you purchase this item, I would not expect it to last all day and would carry a few backups in your purse or wallet. In addition, you MUST be creative with where you decide to place these as I think that is a huge factor in determining how effective the tapes will be. Considering that the tape had helped me the majority of the day (about 8 hours) and I am a novice at using these, I will be fair and give this product 4 stars. In spite of my lack of experience I am still skeptical due to one side of the tape losing is stickiness and have attributed that to its inability to withstand friction. Aside from walking around a bit I did not do a lot so I am curious as to how long the tape would remain sticky if I had decided to stroll around the park for a half hour or just spend a long time outside. I honestly doubt you could wear one tape long while doing some energy intensive activity from my experience. Even though 8 hours is a long time, it doesn't matter if you're wearing your outfit the entire day.

I use these to hold my cloth pads in my undies so they don’t shift. They hold all day and remove very easily. This 3 pack lasts me about a year and I love the tins they come in! Durable enough to throw in your purse or pocket. Discrete- no one knows what they are unless you tell them. I haven’t used them for any other purpose, so I can’t elaborate on that, but I would repurchase.

3 problems have plagued me for a loooong time: bra straps falling off the shoulders, bra straps moving back into sight after I adjust them out of the way for wearing a wider necked top and indentations on my shoulders from the straps! I have searched and searched for a remedy, have read some creative ideas from other women such as sewing loops under their shirt (sounds too time consuming), rubber silicone added permanently to the underside of the strap, and also handmade colorful bra straps for wearing exposed when you are trying to get rid of indentations, basically wearing the strap close to the neck. I've tried bras that go around the neck - sports bras. I don't remember how I finally stumbled upon these but I am more than thrilled to find them. I can wear my bra with the strap sitting practically on the edge of my shoulder and there it stays ALL DAY, and doesn't affect the support whatsoever. I can use the tape to control the "exposure level" of my top. It can be used to fix imperfections in clothing so you can still wear. It also worked well in keeping an undergarment in place by adhering garment to top of pant. A word of caution - I was wearing these, keeping a certain bra in place, and happened to be active that day, and all day, working around the house, vacuuming, lifting boxes - etc..shopping, just really getting things done and in order on my day off! I felt some itching but thought nothing of it - that evening before shower, I removed them in the same manner and to my ouch, I had blisters under each one apparently from the chaffing - and lifted some skin right off!! Ewwww. I know. I recommend if you are going to be moving around and sweating it up, either don't wear them or at least inspect carefully before removing, and remove slowly! But for a typical day of mine, they are awesome! No problems since. I love them. The little boxes are metal and sturdy and remind me of how many things used to come in metal boxes. I keep one box in my purse. Won't be without them.

The first order was received open so I had to return due to safety concern. Second one is fine. I use these for prom dress and they hold well.

*This is my husband's account, I always laugh when I see my reviews of girl type products under his name!* I use this tape so I can go without a bra! I stick these inside the foam cup insert of my choice under a relatively snug undershirt / tank top / camisole and voila! No straps, no wires, no pain! The tape sticks well to the inside of the foam bra inserts (polyester / nylon type of material?) and comes off my skin relatively easily and doesn't leave marks. I like that it sticks to the foam cup more than my skin because I usually get a few uses out of it. Note: I wear a snug tank undershirt to help everything stay in place but I'm sure it would work under loose clothing for one use with enough tape. The tape is in strips that are easy to peel and the little case they come in makes it easy to take wherever you want to go. Cheers!

Excelente producto, puse un par de tiras en la parte alta de un vestido estrapless (arriba del busto) para que no se me bajara ya que bajé algo de peso y no tuve tiempo de llevarlo a ajustar. Las tiras se quedaron fijas a mi piel y vestido, bailé bastante y ni el sudor hizo que se despegaran, soy de piel bastante sensible no me hicieron reacción, tampoco cuando las retiré después de más de 12 horas de uso. Súper recomendables!!!
