They look nice, were a bit uncomfortable at first (lots of seams and ribs in the inside upper side) and quickly get too warm for all day comfort during warm weather months. With only a few days' use, one sole separated from the shoe at the instep, but I glued it back in place. To my surprise, the rubber soles have held up well after two months' use which includes outside use; they stitched to the lower sole and seemed likely be the first things to fray from the shoe and fail. The tabs holding the shoe tight to the foot are Velcro closures and may not hold for long.

The sole plate is true to size (12 or 46,) but the backstay (heel) is 1/2" shorter that the sole. (Look at the pictures.) Also the narrow width makes these a tight fit Order the next size ▲UP▲. The glue used on the sole smells out of the box, but disappeared in a day. I like them for the primitive looks and use them for driving and around the house.

Initially, I was kinda hesitant to order these because about 4 years ago, I ordered some from another company and it took 2 MONTHS to get them. When I finally did get them, I was pleasantly surprised and initially, I thought that they were not leather. I didn't put much into it, I just enjoyed the shoes. The construction of the shoes led me to believe that they would not last that long. I say that because the leather was rather thin and the overall show was flimsy, but those shoes lasted four years of at least two days of wear out of a week. That's what made me order these. When I got them, I compared them to my old ones and they were identical. Here's hoping that these last as long as the first pair. I now have the grey pair and the white ones in my cart and I plan on purchasing them next.

I ordered it for my father and by far it is his 2nd pair of shoes from amazon as he is very specific about his stuff. The shoes are stylish and comfortable by far. I am not sure durability as he has used it for about 10 days only. He has kept it in his office to walk indoors and has been wearing it full day. The shoes definitely seems man made which is a plus point. Overall, a good shoe for a very reasonable price.

I hate it when suppliers lie about their product. There is not an inch of real leather in this shoe.But it is stylish and fits well. I am keeping it as I am not that particular about it being leather. BUT I wish they would not mislead people.
