Tight Fitting Wig
Wow, way too tight for a one size fits all type of wig. I wore it during a 2-hour parade and man, did I have a headache at the end of that time. Ouch! I guess it fit the part I played (Geo Washington) but next time I might try to get a wig with the curls on the sides above the ears as that was more typical of the wigs worn in the late eighteenth century. By and large the Duke wig worked OK as Washington's headpiece. One thing I had to be very careful of is fraying and loosening of the very fine artificial "hair" on this wig. I sprayed it with hair spray to keep it matted down. The Tri-corn hat I wore was also tight on top of the wig so I carefully took that hat on and off. Anyway, here's a photo of the wig in use.

Looks natural, but I should mention that I am ...
Looks natural, but I should mention that I am over 65, so it looks fitting for my appearance; speaking of fit, it is a bit small but I solved that problem by snipping the elastic band that holds it in place on your head, in two places which loosened the tight fit. It simulates natural hair and goes well with my tricorn hat that has a flexible hat rim which can expand to fit on a wig. I changed the wig's blue ribbon, to brown to go with my costume. I get compliments on my outfit, not the lease of which is due to the wigs crowning touch of authenticity.

Great wig!
I purchased this wig to be worn by Scrooge's old schoolmaster in our community theater's production of "A Christmas Carol". It arrived promptly and looked great, right out of the package! The curls were slightly flattened, but coiled right back up with a little water and finger curling. Over the course of our seven performances, the wig held up very well. Stray hairs tended to work free of the ponytail in the back, but I tamed them back with a comb and hairspray. All in all, I was very pleased with the price and the quality! It looked very authentic when worn, and still has many performances left in it.

good for costume but tight fit
I bought this wig for my husband as part of his Cesar Flickerman costume (The Hunger Games). I sprayed painted it blue to go along with his blue suit. Overall it performed exactly as stated but my husband commented that it was a bit tight. His head was hurting by the end of the night.

Nice-looking!
My husband has a rather big head, so it was a tiny bit short at the nape of the neck, but otherwise really nice!

Also made a fabulous King George III once you change the blue ribbon
The wig looks great, but once my 10 year old got hold of it putting it on taking it off it became messy. There was no easy way to comb it and make it look smooth again.I am sure it is better when handled by adults.
