Blunt honesty, I expected to be disappointed by these frames. I had searched locally and looked at countless Amazon sellers to try and meet all of my requirements for frames to go in the nursery for my first great grandchild. I needed a black wood frame, 14 x 18 with a white beveled mat with an opening for 11 x 14 artwork and glass (not plexiglass) . I also did not want to pay $30 - $50 per frame (which was the price of any frame I'd found that met these specifications. When I located these, which came 2 to a package for less than $19 each, I was sure something would go wrong. I had accepted them being charcoal grey instead of black, figuring that could be easily remedied with a can of spray paint. My biggest concern was that the glass would break during shipping. These came on time, extremely well packaged and were exactly as described. I would recommend these frames and seller to anyone. One thing I will note is the grey color on the wood is a stain not an opaque paint. The wood grains show through the color which I found attractive. But if you don't want that, know that you will need to paint them.

These frames are well made and look great. I would purchase them again.

I really like these frames. Simple and cute. I purchased over 12 of these and they are good. Unfortunately shipping on some of them was bad and they had to go back and it took awhile but the frame itself is good! To me the gray finish is more of rustic wood and i like it more than what they call gray. Order gray if you want wood look.

I really want to like this frame. I have ordered maybe 14 of these in total. Out of those 14 I've probably received 6 in perfect condition and had to keep ordering replacements for the others. Sometimes I get a pack of two with one that's usable, sometimes neither of them are usable and I have to send them both back. The glass is so inconsistent, there is almost always a tiny little etch somewhere on it. One of the frames I could even see the foam that holds the glass to the frame itself. It's one of the nicest frames on Amazon that comes with actual glass, it looks great up on the wall, and the mat is really nice, but I just really wish that there was more quality control with these because I'm tired of having to send them back and order them again.

These picture frames are so perfect! We ended up getting 10 of them. All of them came in one piece and the right color. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!

Very poor design. The back of the frame fits up inside a very narrow groove, which leaves room for little else. These are not intended to be used with any kind of backer board, and cannot be without fairly serious modifications. Combine that with the fact that the clips on the back of the frames will damage the back of anything you put in them (there were already indentions on the back of the matte board when I first opened the frames.) and the frames are almost useless. But they are an odd size, which I needed, so I did modify mine to work with a foam board behind my prints and the resulting pressure has bowed the top of the frames up to the point that it’s noticeable.They were also quite dirty. The white frames outside and the white matte inside needed to be cleaned before it could be used. They do have real glass but that doesn’t even begin to make up for the faults. Avoid these frames at all costs if you care at all about what you’re putting inside them.

Everything about these frames was great. I bought them to gift one of them with one of my art prints. Easy to open the frame and mount the print. Eyelets for hanging are prefastened for both horizontal and vertical hanging all you need to do is attach a wire in the direction you need. Note, the wire is not provided. The Mat opening measured exactly as shown in the description which is fortunate for me because I did not have a millimeter to spare. I'm sure I will buy these frames again in the future.

Very happy! I ordered these to frame some 11x14 prints I ordered from an artist. I was a little worried due to the negative reviews and talk of the glass being dirty.My order arrived packaged EXTREMELY well. There was a box within a box and at the center the product was bubble wrapped. My order arrived via FedEx and the box was partially crushed, so I assumed the glass frames were cracked before I even opened. Nope!The frames are a medium-dark brown. The glass is pretty clean. I did give the glass a quick wipe down before installing the prints.Artwork looks great and professionally matted! I plan to order more of this item.
