This s the perfect key for 300rs

When i bought this unit , i thought i would simply take the metal key part , electronic board and the RFID chip and use in this unit. however there are small differences that prevent using the original metal key. that is not so much of a issue , you just have to take the old metal key part and the new blank key part and get it cut at a key maker. It cost me 350 Rupees for this in Bangalore. However i had to bargain and check out a few key makers before i got this price . it could cost you anywhere between 500 to 350 for this.apart from this you need to pay attention to details while opening . the most important one being the position of the spring in the key release button. there is a slot for the spring in the inside of the button and a slot on the plastic case for the spring outside protruding part. if you don't get this right the key wont spring out when the button is pressed.Another thing to remember is to locate and carefully remove the RFID chip. this is below the white platic holder inside the back part of the case.once you remove the white holder using a small flat screw driver , you will notice a small black chip (its a rectangularish bead) , pry this loose carefully using the same screw driver , place both as before in new case .you can pay an additional 200 and get it assembled at the key maker if you don't feel confident about such things!.One final difference is there is an additional screw in this case and once assembled together , use the screw and then paste the emblem over it.
