Conflicting opinion on this
Firstly i'd like to point out this is the Original 1949 version. I didn't bother with due diligence and thought i was purchasing the Eau de Parfum version which is completely different. As for the product itself, the bottle is nice with a 1950s vibe going on.Regarding the scent itself. It starts off with a slightly harsh lemon & bergamont note, which soon is followed up with a slightly soapy drydown, with lavender. The scent i can kind of compare it to that strong lemon found in cleaning products. Which is neither good nor bad.The lemon note remains quite strong even in the dry down. Would only suggest this as a summer fragrance. Or a bathroom air freshener.

Good 80's style fragrance but EDP is better!
The EDP is the scent everyone is talking about. Very similar to YSL Tuxedo (at a fraction of the price). Not this one. This is the EDT, A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SCENT! This one is old school, similar fragrance thread to the old 80's Eau Sauvage. A great throwback fragrance none the less.

Roudnitska!
Similarities to Edmond's masterpiece, Eau Sauvage. This modern reformulation is very good. There is however a background note that comes across as slightly skanky.I'd choose Eau Sauvage over this.Buy this if you're a completionist though 😉
