Wow - - I bought this for a friend last year that has been on the Keto Diet and was bored to death with the lack of flavor in her life. So, for Christmas I bought her this Truffle Salt. She puts it on everything!! Her daughter in law called to say that she was addicted to it, and that they had thrown out the packaging, and wanted to know where to get some. She said that she had bought a couple of different kinds and none were as good as what I had given them. So, I sent them more. Then for Christmas I gave some to my daughter and her husband, and they too have become believers, she said that they put it on practically everything!! Truffle Lovers you have just found a new best friend!

I've purchased 4 types of truffle salt, and this is by far my favorite. The smell is amazing, and I can taste it in the foods I season. Chicken, pasta sauce, eggs - it has a stronger flavor than others. Just ordered it again.

Okay so I havent had truffle before... and I understand it's a acquired taste.. and although the smell was too much for me I kept smelling the salt after putting it in a jar because I thought it might smell off because of the bag nope just the salt itself... now smell aside you get used to it in a few minutes and you start noticing nice nodes of cents that are desirable... now all this said I give it 1 star... why might you ask... well I cant honestly tell any difference when comparing this salt to kosher salt side by side... now I though maybe I just need more... so i put an amount of salt that made the meat maximally salty maybe over salted... and still I couldn't say there is a difference in flavor.. I'm upset a bit.. the smell is pungent and strong but the taste seems to be non existent I beleive oil was used in this salt to add smell and that's why there is ruffly 0 flavor of truffle.. I'm going to try a more expensive brand of truffle salt from a salt retailer i trust who are considered the best in the high end culinary world not sure why I went cheap but I got what i paid for i definitely wont be pairing this with real truffles on a steak seeing as how it would seem to be a waist of the real truffle given that this wont enhance there flavor further on the steak, hopefully I can find somehow to use it currently I view it as being sub par to be paired along side a real Italian black truffle.I dont suggest this, I'm a newbie about truffles but I have an amazing sense of smell and taste and I can assure you there is nearly no flavor in this salt.You would get more flavor from a tiny tiny bit of the real thing ( even subpar in quality truffles ) apposed to any amount of this salt you could ever use.

I wanted to like this "deal", but its not just Black Italian Truffles and Sea Salt! The Truffle Aroma adds a horrible taste! True Black Truffle Salt should have those 2 items only, and the amount of truffles should be high enough to flavor the salt without whatever Truffle Aroma is! I regularly purchase Black Truffle Sea Salt from a reputable source, and at $10/oz its not cheap. However after being stuck with this garbage, I'd gladly pay $10/oz from this point forward!

Such flavorful truffle salt. Not just salty, but full of truffle flavor. It’s well worth the money. A little goes a long way too, so it will last for quite some time.

This stuff has got some smell! My wife loves it I like it. you can smell it through the bag!. Now we use it in Chicken mac n cheese. Makes it taste awesome. We use it on fries and steaks and chicken breasts. It''s great on A lot of things. Little pricey but we don't use a tone of it and it lasts a while. Worth the money.

I have been adding this to rib eye steaks with white pepper and it brings out something I have not tasted before. My sister & best friend keeps asking me for some after having that cookout. Seriously flavors and aromas I have never experienced and will continue to enjoy as long as it is available! Just Try It! Will buy again.
