Kids still love it!
I bought this, along with a Leapster 2, for my granddaughter's 6th birthday. She has loved it! It seems to have good replayability, and her older sister, who has a DS, wants to play this game all the time. So, I feel it was a great purchase. Her birthday was about six weeks ago, so it has definitely kept her interest longer than most games. As with all Leapster cartridges, it's a bit small, and she has already misplaced it once (it was in Mimi's car). Other than that, I would highly recommend this game.

My daughter loves it
My daughter is about to turn 4 and received this game for Christmas. She is obsessed with princesses (and especially Repunzel) so it seemed like a good fit. She is not old enough to do all of the games, but there are some modes, such as coloring and stickers, that hold her attention for quite awhile. I am sure as she gets older, she will play more and more.

My daughter loves it
It came fast! The game can be played in story mode of individual activity, which I haven't seen that as an option in the other games we have. Only down fall is that the game doesn't teach much. There is a letter identifying game; and word making game which it shows you how to correctly spell the word at the bottom (it is more about copying than using sound drills that she has learned at school); and there is a creative arts game. I think that it is way to easy for my little Kinder, but she loves it.

educational and challenging game
This is the second game I purchased for my daughter and it is her favorite by far. She loved the movie Tangled and has really enjoyed moving through the different levels of the game. It has been challenging and very rewarding. She loves to show me her progress and how well she can spell and add now. Highly recommended to a child that knows the movie well.

Screen is bad!
It is hard for the four year old to get into it because the screen is terrible picture quality and the touch screen is not that intuitive. it's off, when you click on an area it clicks somewhere else, it just isnt a good product even for a little one, they have to be immersed to be able to enjoy it and the screen quality is not there, colors bleed everywhere as well. gh,tx

Disappointed Daughter
When I ordered this product, I thought I ordered the game for the LEAPSTER EXPLORER as that's what I put in the search field. Unfortunately, I'd been building my daughter up for 3 weeks waiting for it to arrive and when it did, she couldn't use it. I am of course, not very popular with her at the moment. She's 4 years old and got her Leapster Explorer last month for her birthday.MAKE SURE YOU READ AND RE-READ YOUR ORDERS PEOPLEIt's too much of a hassle to send such a small item back from australia

Daughter Loves It!
My daughter was given a Leapster 2 for Christmas last year, and everyone thought they got her the new one. But she loves it! This game lets you choose your level every time, and to continue where you left off on that level. She's been playing it for months and still hasn't run out of things to do!

Cute game
My daughter loved the movie so much. Went ahead and got her this for Valentine's Day. She loves it and has played with it almost every day if possible. Depends on homework amount, etc. Game seems well done and it has different options depending on what she's in the mood to play.

Great but with a major fault!
My 4 year old daughter loved the film and so we decided to get the Leapster game to go with her Leapster 2. It was an instant hit! Two modes - creative mode and story book mode. I found storybook mode to be over rather quickly, although from a 4 year olds point of view this is probably not a problem as she feels she has achieved something and is happy to have another go. My major gripe is that during one of the games, the user is asked to select a lower case letter but is only given the option of choosing an upper case one. When the game is reversed, the user is asked instead for an upper case letter yet this time only lower case ones are available to choose! Disappointing from Leapster, I have been impressed with all their other games. It's not a very good start for teaching children about their letters. This doesn't seem to bother my daughter, she doesn't know the difference between the two yet anyway, but it does bother me.

entertaining
It keeps my kids entertained, so it must be ok. In fact the only downside, is the arguments on who will play it next.
