Good quality, no smell for the oil inside. I've been taking them for about 3 months and they are easy to swallow with no upset stomach or other side effects. I will note these are only DHA. If you also want EPA you may look at their other offerings.

These algae DHA soft gels really helped reduce my joint pain and inflammation. Easy to take, no fishy aftertaste. Only downside is they’re out of stock, and I’m not sure when they’ll be available again.

Excellent substitute for fish oil. Fish oil makes me pretty sick but not this. Works well with prenatal vitamins

I love this item so far! I’ve only taken it for a few days so I don’t know about health improvements yet, but I like that it doesn’t have a fishy taste (which other vegan DHA supplements I’ve taken before have had). My stomach hasn’t been upset, but I do recommend taking it with a meal that contains fat for better absorption (per Google searches lol). It’s a bit pricey, but I will likely continue taking it. Four stars based on the price being kinda high.

I've been a vegetarian all of my life, as part of my culture. As a result, there is an omega-3 deficiency for purely vegetarian folks, as it would traditionally come from fish products, and fish oil. Fortunately though, the fish's source for omega-3s is actually from algae and algal oil, which is what these supplements are. Fish meat and fish oil contains heavy metals as the fish have to filter waste products in the seawater in order to breathe and these sorts of metals end up in their systems. Algal oil avoids all of these issues, while providing the necessary Omega-3s that we require. The pill bottle is standard, has a safety cap when you purchase it to prevent it from being prematurely opened. The first smell that you get is actually a seaweed-y type of smell. It's not overwhelming, and is actually much more subtle than actual seaweed itself. For taste, the pills don't really taste like anything. They do have a slight seaweed aftertaste, but is so subtle and mild that it's hardly noticeable and it does not linger for long periods of time. If the slightest feeling is bothersome, a mint will cure the issue. I have no burps, no digestive issues so far, and feel good overall, but this is only my first day trying these. I have been keeping track of my triglycerides, HDL and overall cholesterol level as I had been obese and recently lost over 43 lbs in 8 months. While proper dieting and exercise has reduced my cholesterol levels from the point when I was obese, they are still high as high cholesterol runs in my family. So I'm hoping these supplements will aid in lowering the LDL levels and raising HDL levels, and will keep track with blood tests. I will edit this review after a few months usage and after getting blood work done again.

Muy buen suplemento. Me gusta este Omega-3 de Nordic Naturals, especialmente porque es a base de algas, una opción vegana difícil de encontrar con esta calidad. Las cápsulas de gel son fáciles de tragar y no dejan ningún sabor desagradable, cosa que agradezco mucho porque yo super batallo para tragar pastillas grandes. He notado una mejoría en mi concentración y en la salud de mi piel desde que empecé a tomarlas. Le doy 4 estrellas porque el precio es un poco elevado en comparación con otras marcas, aunque entiendo que la calidad lo justifica. También me gustaría que el frasco trajera más cantidad por el costo. Aun así, seguiré comprándolo porque los resultados valen la pena.
