Our maltipoo is an avid swimmer, so we didn't need a heavy duty life jacket, just one for "just-in-case." This one is perfect. It fits securely and will support him. It's very hard to go by the size chart, because of our maltipoo's size. Some measurements he's XS, some, S, and some XXL? Maybe he's an odd-shaped dog? His neck measures 10", his chest measures 17", and the length of his back measures 17". We purchased the Small and it fits him perfectly.

5lb toy Chihuahua- was hard to find a flotation vest to fit. This one was perfect. And she seemed comfortable.

This is a cute little life jacket, little stiff and a bit bulky. As you can see from my pup she's too small for the coat and its a small. That said most things are too big for her. So if you have a tiny pup that wears ex small, this won't work.

We have a 13 lb boston terrier puppy who loves the water but gets tired.. he really can relax and have fun in the water safely wearing this jacket and lots if room to grow.. i put this same jacket on our 22 lb 2yr old BT and she who hates the water did great.. I'm going to get her a size larger but only due to the length.. still this jacket velcros and snaps perfectly in place for a secure fit in both fur babies!

After I put this on my dog he was so humiliated he ran away from home. We haven’t seen him since & keep checking out reports of land shark sightings in the Mid Atlantic states. I thought it was well made & looked cute. But what do I know? I enjoy writing honest reviews for my fellow Amazonians and I hope you find this review helpful.

It is cute and the size is accurate. I’m returning it because the foam is VERY THIN and the ones from a different brand I bought to my other dogs the foam is double of the size than this one. I feel insecure that it will hold my dog’s weight And prevent any accident to happen.

I ordered a large for my dog and it came too small, ok my mistake. The vest fit around his belly but I couldn't get the velcro to reach. I sent it back, paid my return shipping and re-ordered an XL. It came today, wadded and folded in half, in an envelope from China, with the outside bag marked XL but I can't even get this one to go around his belly. Now I guess I have to pay return shipping again to return this. It is very cheaply made, with not enough padding in it to keep a big dog afloat. Don't waste your time with this vest.

LOVE THIS VEST! @BellaBoyotti sported this vibrant orange vest (size 2XL) while boating on Folsom Lake in northern California. Boy, did she get a lot of attention! Not only is the vest super stylish, it's also very well constructed and durable. In fact, we were able to use the well-attached back-handle to lift "water-logged" Bella in and out of the boat more than once without consequence; Bella when dry weighs 61 lbs - that's no small pup. Another great feature is the Velcro under-belly flap which keeps the exterior adjustable belly-straps from cutting into her skin when being pulled out of the water with the back-handle. And finally, the D-ring hook allowed Bella to swim in the middle of the lake without concern because she was attached to a long lead. We love the vest! Bella might need the pink vest, next! She has exquisite taste!
