The media could not be loaded. Bought this particular fog machine because of its functionality with the controller I was using. Was very easy to setup and configure for my space. The ability to change the direction of the nozzle was perfect for my project. Functions great! DMX inputs/output work great for adding additional effects!

I bought two of these for our production of The Wizard of Oz. They warm up fairly quickly. They work great with quick dissipating frog juice. In fact, they made high columns of smoke. The sound was perfect so no sound effects needed. Great ability to change light for witch and for Oz. One remote worked for both machines. I was really happy with it. They are also super efficient with fog juice as we only went through one gallon on our production.It was safe, even when it went off accidentally (one student set it off a another was above it). No one was harmed. Better than pyrotechnics for our show.Be sure to provide the short warmup time so it can go off when needed.I highly recommend and will use again as needed.

I'm not sure who to blame, ADJ or Amazon. We paid over $300 for this fog machine, it came in missing the remote.Customer service was great in replacing the remote, but when we tried the unit, it did not function. This indicating maybe Amazon did not disclose item was returned defective or was quality control lacking at the company.Rep confirmed our water based juice was sufficient and told us to send for repair. Repair department is now wanting us to pay $35 in labor stating was received "dirty, dusty with scratches" and wrong juice was used. This is not about $35, but more so on principle of paying more money and requesting our credit card information with an unsecure method.Repair dept is requesting credit card info on a Word Document, and not by a secure method. I will update review if a secure payment method is offered and the machine is returned and functional.

I have bought at least a dozen or so fog machines in the past. This is by far the best machine I have ever used. It is very responsive, registers remote presses from at least 30 feet away, and jets fog out like nobody's business up to about 10 feet from the device when outside.ADJ has killed my desire for any other brand in this field. Great, tough construction throughout the device. Multiple ways to prop it up, or hang it sideways and even upside down. More color patterns than I know what to do with. And the machine stays relatively cool after hours of use.If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

I am a Technical Director at a professional theatre and we were looking for a nice inexpensive fog effect for one of our productions. This product filled our need nicely. My Lighting Designer found the unit integrated easily into our DMX computer lighting system and was easily programed for use. We are using it inverted from our lighting grid. The only issue we had was the unit did not come with an easy way to attach to the overhead lighting pipes at our facility as the M10 mounting holes did not fit our standard instrument clamps and the unit did not come with hanging hardware. Though it does have points for safety chains. A minor inconvenience, but easy enough to solve......The Director was happy with the effect, and the Producer liked the price. Win/Win!!

This is by far the best "vertical" fogger we have used. The fog stream is instant and powerful. When used with the "Quik Blast" Fog fluid, it is about as close to a CO2 style effect that you can get.There is a loud "steam" sound when they are producing fog. It is similar to noise from a CO2 effect.We had issues with a loud mechanical / vibration noise from one of the pumps. The noise was VERY loud in the first of two machines we bought, and we had to try two exchanges through Amazon to finally get one that was not as bad. The vibration noise is still there. It is definitely not right, but it is tolerable for our use.We had issues trying to control these units using DMX through our laptop DMX relay. The DMX performance was unreliable in this setup situation. DMX appears to be more reliable when connected to a manual DMX controller. We end up using the remotes for most performances. One remote can fire two units simultaneously. There is an occasional 1/2 -1 second delay between the two units when fired together, but for the most part they work together well.If the vibration / pump noise was not there, this would be a 5 star unit, no question about it.Price seems to vary by almost $100 on a regular basis on Amazon, so if you are thinking about one of these units, I would monitor pricing for a week or two to see if you can get a better deal.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this fog machine to go with my Halloween decorations. I have my lights programmed to have a bit of fire theme, when I saw the promo video, I knew this is something I had to have. I had visions of mounting it above my front entryway so it would shoot down as trick or treaters approached, but when you flip the reservoir it kind of needed more clearance than I had available. Instead I set it up behind a pillar angled about 45 degrees so it would blast across the walkway. I programmed the remote channels to appropriate colors, and fire it as the kids passed it. This thing is awesome! The reactions made this worth every penny.

Great effect. Shoots fog more than 15 feet. Remote works from at least 50 feet away in our theater. We bought this to replace flash pots. While it is not the same effect as a flash pot it still got great reaction from the audience. We have used it several times now for various shows.The only complaint is when mounted overhead it spits on the actors. After the blast was finished it would drip onto the floor.
