These planter pots arrived in pristine, new condition with all of the expected components included. I wanted to mention this because a few reviewers had said they received dirty or used looking pots, cracked items, or some pieces missing from their orders. I received 6 brand new items with both inner and outer pots, and all 6 of the watering strings included. I'm very particular about the items I display in my home. I had admired these pots online for a while but wasn't sure if they'd look as good in person. I wanted the lighter weight that plastic offers over ceramic, but nobody wants to put their pretty plants in cheap looking pots to be displayed around their home. Anyway, my African Violets were finally in desperate need of repotting so after a year of looking at these, I decided to order. These planters look great in person! I'm so happy with their appearance and quite pleased to display them in my home. Though they are lightweight plastic, they look anything but cheap. They have a substantial look and a nice finish to them, and when the inner pot sits in the outer pot, they become very sturdy and rigid. They start out extremely lightweight so that by the time you add soil, plants, and water, they are still so easy to lift and move around, and it's easy to add water to the outer pots as needed for plants like African Violets that do better when watered from the bottom. Some reviewers commented that the slits on the inner pots weren't fully punched out. I'm not sure, but this may be so that you can choose just how many slits you want to utilize in order to customize the amount of drainage to your liking. I found it quite easy to push the slits all the way open with just the edge of my fingernail, with no damage to my fingernail. The cuts for the slits are already in place but how many of the slits you open is up to you. The two round holes on the bottom to run the watering strings through come fully punched out and open. I chose the 4.5" pots in the white color option and they are a pure, clean, bright white. I find them very pretty. I knew before ordering that I would use these pots without their watering strings. Because I like to let my African Violets dry out between waterings, I simply add water to the outer pots as needed letting my violets have a good drink, and then I empty the excess water out when done. This is the method I always use for watering my African Violets and I was so pleased that these new pots would allow me to easily continue with that method. This set of 6 pots is so good looking and is a steal for the price. Though I really love the classic white color I chose, I may order a set in the hydrangea blue color next. These pots are a great value. Unless you select the wrong size, I don't think you can go wrong by ordering these. They really upgraded the look of my plants.

you not only get the pot for planting your orchids but the liner is designed with orchids in mind so they receive good air circulation around he roots and keep the bottom of the liner off of the bottom so the roots do not sit in water

The pots are fine, I suppose. The inserts are smaller than I anticipated and I am already having to repot a couple of plants. I guess not so bad, really, but i would have been okay not having to already.

I waited several months to write this review to ensure that my plants didn’t get moldy from the self-watering mechanism. They didn’t! I now water my house plants twice a month, instead of 5-6. And I don’t need to wait to drain the plants like I used to, since all of the water goes into the “reservoir.” This is a game changer.

Nice size for stepping up small succulents and cactus which I buy at Lowes. The shape and design are nicer than most planters for this price.

found these pots to be sturdy and easy to assemble. Interior pot will basically hold a 3 inch nursery pot and enough water for about 1 week (inside) or 2 days (outside) here in the desert of Palm Springs. Only negative comment is that it can be difficult to get the interior pot to sit perfectly on the outer white pot but no one can notice and it still works well regardless.

The pots arrived promptly, but without instructions or tips for use. There were only five of what I determined to be "wicks" enclosed for the six pots. Both the inner and the outer pots are flimsy and I don't expect them to last long.

Bought these to try my hands at growing herbs indoors over the winter. The herbs have failed but the planters look nice even though they are just plastic. Not sure if the wicking system works well or not but moisture meter says they did. I added some gravel to the bottom to weigh them down as they are quite light. Will try to grow something else in them outside when spring rolls around.

This was advertised exactly as what I received. It is plastic, Light weight, can use indoor or outdoor, very modern, you get six outter decor plant holders and six inner plant holders, exactly what I need and you can place the inner plant holders into different decor pots. The price is a little high for plastic but does have a nice otter design. Perfect for a tier plant design.

I really love these pots. But I think they'd be best for people who plant their plants in LECA or sphagnum moss, maybe not for those who use soil.Like another reviewer mentioned, the plastic is quite thin so it was hard to separate all the pots when I received the package. Also the plastic is a bit cheap, there should've been slots in all the inner pots, but some of them I needed to use scissors to make the cut a true cut.Regardless, I did like these pots a lot for small plants. I am a big fan of the self-watering function, especially for humidity loving plants.I would definitely buy these again.

Love it, I use it in my semi hydroponics indoor plants and its the best pot that I have used. Affordable, it looks great and good quality. It arrived on time as well. Definitely recommending this product...
