Lightweight, Radiant, and Easy to Apply—Great Everyday Foundation (But Not 10+ Hour Wear)
I’ve used tarte’s Babassu Foundcealer for a long time and it remains one of my favorites. If you prefer a lightweight feel with a dewy, healthy finish, this is a great one to try. It goes on very smoothly, blends easily (brush, sponge, or fingers all work), and the buildable medium coverage looks natural—not thick or cakey. I also find the shade range reliable; I have fair skin and have never had trouble matching my complexion. A few notes on wear: for me, it’s not a true long-wear formula. After about 8–10 hours it starts to fade, so it’s perfect for everyday use but not my pick for very long days or events without touch-ups. A light set with translucent powder or a setting spray helps extend it a bit. Bonus points: it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and includes Broad Spectrum SPF 20 (nice for a little extra protection—though I still use a dedicated sunscreen underneath). I also think it’s a great starter foundation for someone new to makeup because it’s forgiving, easy to blend, and looks fresh rather than heavy. Pros: Lightweight, dewy, skin-like finish Buildable medium coverage; blends smoothly Reliable shade matching (worked well on my fair skin) Vegan, cruelty-free, and SPF 20 bonus Cons: Not ideal for 10+ hour wear without touch-ups If you want full coverage or a matte finish, this isn’t it Bottom line: A lovely everyday foundation-concealer hybrid with a radiant finish—comfortable, natural, and beginner-friendly, just plan for touch-ups on longer days.

Great natural finish
The best concealer out there!! Clean-ish ingredients. It seems expensive but a little amount goes along way I’ve gone through 3 bottles and they have each lasted me around a year. So worth the money to me! The consistency high quality, it is not thick but it is buildable if you need coverage. Also great for oily or combination skin. Blurs pores and makes skin look smooth.

Outta ding coverage and moisturizer as well as very long lasting and not bevy looking!
Have used this for years. It is a dual product that is not too heavy but conceals well and is a great all day stable product!

Very good
Wonderful consistency, goes well on the skin. It is important that the cream has SPF, so it is suitable for use in sunny weather. Hides imperfections on the face. Convenient packaging which allows you to use the cream completely. fragrance-free. A wide range of shades that allow you to choose your own color.

Adequate, but not the best foundation I've tried
This is the only foundation I currently own and use (the last few bases I used consistently for years were discontinued). I prefer to use a BB cream most days, but I am glad I have this foundation as a backup and higher coverage option. I like it enough to give it a 3/5 because the shade matches my skin and it offers more coverage than a BB cream. I have rosacea on my cheeks and sometimes a small break out to cover, so it's good to have an option for more coverage on hand when you need it. It wears relatively well throughout the day, but I feel like towards the end of an evening it tends to not look as good as other foundations I've had in the past. It can look cakey if I try to touch it up in the afternoon for something I have planned in the evening. I'm no makeup expert, so take my issues with a grain of salt! Separately, I find this packaging impossible to close/lock for travel. But it does seem like it should be possible? Plot twist: On a hunch, I searched and found that one of my old favorite foundations from The Ordinary was brought back in March 2025?! I recommend you try that one first if you're looking for foundation. I signed up for when my shade comes back in stock. Porcelain Beige is my shade in this foundation, and I believe 1.0P is the shade in The Ordinary's.

Easy to apply and not greasy
I've been using this foundation for years and you only need a little bit for coverage. I'm very happy with the coverage and application is easy - I use a sponge. Glad to know it has SPF as well.
