You don't have to be a rocket scientist to unravel this cube into a snake (just twist and swivel the 27 wooden cubes to uncoil the serpent) but it certainly helps to be a genius to put it back together. This legendarily difficult brain-teasing puzzle will have you undulating in no time. If the snake starts to constrict you, just remember: The string of cubes form a Hamiltonian path through a 3×3×3 grid graph, duh! Skill and patience will be tried when turning the snake back into the original cube. Dimensions: 2 1/3" x 2 1/3" x 2 1/3"

Cheap garbage version of the real thing
I have had this puzzle before (purchased from a puzzle shop) and it was very high quality. This high quality one matched the picture shown EXACTLY (same colors, wood looked the same, even had the same little circular notch on the end shown in one of the pictures).HOWEVER, the puzzle I received from this seller is very poor quality, and does not match the picture. The wood is connected by a stretchy cheap feeling elastic, and the puzzle is much smaller than the one I had previously owned. It feels like a cheap toy that came free in a box of cereal. I'm assuming it will break after minimal use. Once again, the picture shown in the description is most definitely a photo of the higher quality version of this toy, and NOT of the one that will ship. Considering this cost me $15 with shipping, I am a very unhappy customer. For that much money, the real product should have been sent.

Don't Purchase.
I thought maybe the reviewers were being over critical of the product. I was wrong. This puzzle looks like it should come out of a vending machine for $0.50 not the $10.00 the have the price set at. The size is no larger than a golf ball, the wood is cheap and soft, and the product quality looks like something that should have come from a Oriental Trading Co. magazine.Amazon Consumers: Don't bother wasting your time with this product. You, like the rest of us will just end up returning it.Amazon Vendors: If you must peddle this product, place it at a reasonable price that your consumers will ponder keeping it when they have been duped. Perhaps around $2.00. At that price it still is around a 566% mark up instead of the 3099% markup that you are currently charging (if your reading this and trying to do the math, the wholesale price of this product is $0.30 (verified)). As a result you might not face so many returns on this puzzle.

Impossibly Clever
This is made of wood - and comes in the shape of a cube - but unfolds to a "snake"It is really easy to unwind the cube into the snake, but darn near impossible to get it back to a cube.Give one of these to one of your 'high-IQ' friends and see how long it takes her (or him) to figure it out.The best of the wooden puzzles I have EVER seen.

Four Stars
Would work a little easier with rounded corners, but still works

Piece of junk
This cracked about 10 mins after I received it, it looks nothing like the pic (mine is green and natural wood), very cheaply made and flimsy. Maybe worth $2 - dollar store quality. Total ripoff for $10 - very disappointing.

packaging was ok
the packaging it came in was ok. it looks just as advertised in the pic. i urge anyone who likes puzzles to buy it. it's so fun and frustrating trying to solve it from either end. makes a good paper weight to *hint for another use when you get bored of solving it*

An amazing puzzle for all ages
This was a stocking filler for my grandson. He looked on google to get the solution and now he can do it as quick as lightening.
