I like where this brand is going.
I've bought thousands of items from various online stores, and this will be my very first review. I'm doing this because I like to support brands that are just starting and share the same ideas as me.I'm a sneakerhead who has over 200 pairs of shoes. I started buying shoes frequently 8 years ago to help my flat feet and chronic arch pain. About 4 years ago, I realized the only kind of shoes that can truly help my feet problems are zero drop shoes with a medium-to-low stack height, because this kind of shoes allows you to move naturally and strengthens your muscle. On the other hand, most traditional orthopedic shoes/stability running shoes with high drop weaken your muscles and ligaments, since they basically control your feet in a certain motion with arch support insole/midsole that sits right under your plantar fascia and replaces its function, which makes your plantar fascia looser and weaker.Due to this realization, brands that make great zero/low drop running shoes, such as Altra, Merrell, quickly became my go-to choice. So you can imagine how excited I was when I saw Tesh Sports's shoes (Twitch 1.0 and their other upcoming shoes). The Twitch 1.0 seems like one of the best shoes I can find in the market: Zero drop, full ground contact, wide toe box, cheap, and they even come with a pair of vibram-like sleeves. However, when I finally got my pair, I was somewhat disappointed due to several factors:1. Thick, hard, heavy, and rigid outsole that will not bend whatsoever. Making it thinner/cutting some flex grooves would help.2. Poor heel lockdown due to the horrifying outsole and design. It needs a heel cup/more padding/new design.3. Materials don't work with each other very well. The upper is made of very light and minimum materials, which I like. However, the platform is just too heavy and it feels like it drags the upper down instead of working with it. Again, that outsole needs to be changed.4. The sleeves don't fit very well. The gap between the 4th toe and the pinky toe needs to be deeper.Despite all my dislikes, these shoes are still a good choice at this price since they do have zero drop, wide toe box, right amount of cushion. I see a lot of potential in this company. Here's a few things I would like to see in the next Twitch:1. Less stitching in the upper.2. More minimum laces and more space between eyelets.3. Redesign that outsole.4. Better heel fit.5. Sell the sleeves separately, since they are really not a component of these shoes.

For flat or wide feet, you need these trainers.
I really do love the tesh 1.0's. If you have flat feet and are active, go to the gym. Play sports still. These are the training shoes for you. Also are super comfortable. I like them so much I went and bought a different color. The second pair I had come fit way better and seemed more sturdy. The 5T socks they come with are really an awesome idea. One they need to think through better. Most people's toes are about the same. Once you get to the fourth and pinky toes, everyone varies. My pinky is a bit under. My one friend literally it's on the top like a stubb. I would say I am a sample size in everything, but my feet are 12. If you have narrow feet, if you're not planning on wearing the neoprene toe socks, then it doesn't matter what size you get they're going to be too spacious. I don't have a wide foot I do appreciate the room while I'm dojng plyometrics or squats. You can also wear them in the house. But these shoes are what they are. A great shoe for a niche group. You're not going to run a marathon in them.. I bought their baseball cleats which are fabulous as well and 4 other pairs as presents. I really want to see the 2.0s and I hope they fix some of the minor issues like reinforcing the eyelets and actually putting heel support instead of that weird hole sixth serves no purpose. I got a couple pair of the women's for my wife for less than $20. My second pair were only $38. I've worn every type of sneeker imaginable to cleats to RM Willaims boots. So....flat foot, wide foot = best training shoes you've ever had. High arch and or narrow foot, I would pass if I were you. They do sell them at dicks sporting goods. But the cleats are the only things there I believe until 2.0 comes out. They have me hooked I'm a customer for life. Enjoy!

Good feel, short life
I purchased a pair of these shoes that arrived in November 2014. The initial feel and zero drop felt great on my feet. I was initially very happy I took a chance on a relatively unknown brand and thought they were great.Fast forward to March 2015 (approximately 4.5 months later) and the outer lateral sides of the toe box have worn out to the point where I have two decent-sized holes that make the shoes unwearable. Since February I have regularly used these 4-5 days per week for weight training with some cardio on the elliptical. I had taken a break from the gym through the holidays due to injury. In that time I occasionally used these shoes for work which includes light walking.I contacted the company I purchased them from (not Amazon), who contacted Tesh. They deemed this normal wear and tear for their shoe and chose not to repair or replace them. I can understand their decision, but have to say a 2 month lifespan (of active use, Feb-Apr) is simply not acceptable in my opinion.I would not buy these shoes again, and ultimately went back to my Merrell shoes that I had initially replaced with the Tesh Twitch pair. I've had them for about two years and they are still going strong. It seems like in this case you do get what you pay for. Also, you can see any socks you are wearing somewhat through the material of the shoe. This is just more of a general observation, neither good nor bad.

Clowning around? This is the shoe for you!
I sent these shoes back as soon as I received them. The front base of the shoe looks and feels enormous. The sock that came with it felt pretty uncomfortable. I didn't walk around in the shoe so I can't comment on the performance. I literally tried them on, realized they resemble clown shoes, and put them back in the box. The mesh on top also seems like it would tear pretty easily.
