Good strong string
This trimmer line from Oregon is a good , well made strong line that does a good job going from yard grass to heavier bladed wet land type grass and tall grasses. I maintain a large property and use a trimmer that holds 2 cutting strands at a time and Ican get a good distance of area covered before I have to put in 2 new strands. Not sure if the .155 would work in a bump head due to its thickness. But I would recommend this to someone with heavy work on their property or for a landscape crew.

Commercial farm grade
This string out performs any other string I’ve used. Even up against metal welded fencing it stays intact.

Surprised on how well this holds up!
I was able to trim about an acre of thick grass with my trimmer mower with one set of strings.. Be careful around fences or limbs but definitely great for the price!!

Close but not perfect!
If you've been using thinner line such as .095 you'll definitely notice a big difference using this. It lasted much longer and didn't break nearly as easily.

Large, stiff but breaks in pieces
Nice looking cord and one of the larger ones I've found. The twists are smooth, not as sharp as I'd like so it doesn't cut as clean as some with sharp edges. I understand if bumping hard surfaces like a rock or a fence that the ends may wear quicker, but this is apparently too brittle and actually "broke" and threw pieces of the cord flying. Trimmer cord simply shouldn't shatter. Returning.

Good Overall
I have not found the "perfect" trimmer string. It likely does not exist. Each seems to be a compromise.Thick string is more durable but thin string cuts better. Sharp edge (square) string cuts better but round string is more durable. Twisted string cuts better but round string feeds better. Coextruded string is more durable than monofilament but typically also more expensive. My application is about 50% grass on mulch bed edges and 50% grass on concrete (sidewalk & driveway) edges. I want something as durable and feeds like 0.105" round that cuts as clean as 0.080" square/twisted. Prefer made in USA and not ridiculously priced. This is as good as I've found for typical homeowner (manicured grass) use on a gasoline 2-stroke trimmer (2 opposing line head).A good practice is to store the roll in a sealed Ziplock bag with a damp/wet scrap chunk of sponge. This will help keep the string from drying out and becoming brittle. This string is typically rated relatively high on various online reviews and comparisons.

Way nicer than stock
The stock wire that came with my Dewalt weed eater was useless. This will even cut small brush without hesitation.

Great trimmer line.
Wow this stuff lives up to its claims and is exceeding my expectations. I finally ran out of the green junk that came loaded on my weed eater so needed something to replace it with. This is WAY more durable than the line it had before. I've trimmed my backyard twice already and haven't had to let out more line yet. It also doesn't fray like my old line did. I only wish it came in smaller spools, because I don't think I'll ever use all of this up...
