Product description Wearing Is Believing Acupressure has been around for more than 5,000 years and has been embraced because it's effective, non-invasive and affordable. Psi Bands are designed to adjust around the wrist and at the acupressure point for a personalized and comfortable fit. They stay static on the Nei-Kuan acupressure point, the point that is clinically proven to relieve nausea. Review: Plane travel miracle! - These bands were amazing! I usually take motion sickness medicine before a flight because I get sick during take off and landing. However, even the 12 hour stuff left me feeling so groggy the next day, and I was going on a two week trip through Europe, and with many trips on and off planes and trains I didn't want to risk feeling sleepy the whole time. So I used these psi bands instead, and I have to say, they definitely worked! I strapped them on about 20 minutes before the plane took off. And NO NAUSEA!!! I was even able to look out of the window! I did not wear them for the entirety of the plane trip because I'm fine once the plane is in the air, and I didn't end up needing them for trains, but I can see how some people would find them uncomfortable. I have fat wrists, so they did squeeze my arms a bit. And yes, they do leave an impression on your arm, but it does have to put pressure on the spot to work. It certainly didn't press hard enough to leave a bruise or anything, and I didn't find it particularly painful. I'm just glad they worked, and that I didn't have to walk about Germany feeling like a drugged out zombie! Review: Didn't work for me - I returned them - I brought these and some Quease Ease aromatherapy on a 10 day sailing trip to the Virgin Islands. Neither worked. My friend gave me some Ginger gum to chew when I was feeling queasy and that worked until I got my sea legs. My wife wore the Transderm Scop patch behind her ear and was perfect the whole trip. Go that route to 100% avoid motion sickness misery.

They do work!
I purchased these due to morning sickness. I had been very nauseous starting at 5 weeks into my pregnancy and couldn't make it through a full day of work, drive, or even eat without feeling the effects of nausea. I was already familiar with the benefits of accupressure and found that the pressure points on my wrists did offer temporary relief. I had tried other bands over 10 years for a cruise because I am prone to sea-sickness and those had not worked for me at all. So I had been skeptical (but hopeful) that these would work and was excited to experience that they do!! Granted, they don't take away ALL the nausea, all of the time, but it makes it so that I can sit or stand and do my job without feeling the need to run to the nearest bathroom or garbage can all the time. Yes, they did take some getting used to, and the discs did leave marks on my skin after wearing them for 12 hours a day. They are adjustable and fit my wrist fine. I chose the "block party" design as they don't stick out like the other colors do. All in all, I've been wearing these for the past six weeks and would reccommend them to anyone needing relief from nausea.

Though they didn't work for my morning sickness, they still look cute!
Some days the bands worked for my morning sickness, some days they didn't. I had gotten 2 pair, the second for my daughter who gets car sick and they have helped her.

Purchased for morning sickness, gave to car sick toddler
I purchased these for morning sickness. Some reviews that I read said that they would be effective from anywhere after a few minutes of continuous use to upwards of 2 days of continuous use. I wore these things like crazy and didn't even take them off for showering. I don't really think I saw a change...I had horrible morning sickness. After wearing them for days and days and days I noticed that my wrists were becoming irritated where the pressure point is hit, so I stopped wearing them. I ended up giving these to my toddler that gets car sick. They seem to be effective...or perhaps a mind trick for the kid? Either way, I strap them on for winding mountain roads.

Great for occasional wear, but not constant wear...
I'll start by saying the Psi Band is good quality for a reasonable price. The bands are tough, durable and have a stylish look to them. I also like being able to adjust the pressure, though the 'wheel-like' pressure adjuster does add bulk which may be an issue for some. If you're looking for something to relieve motion sickness for when you travel, or provide relief from occasional bouts of nausea, these bands are definitely the way to go! Unlike typical acupressure wristbands, they look more like a bracelet, making them more discreet and just more attractive all around, plus they're waterproof. This is why I give it 5 stars. I've always known acupressure bands/bracelets worked great for nausea, but I didn't realize just how well they can calm anxiety! The only problem I found with these particular wristbands is that I could not wear them for long periods of time without developing deep red marks and chaffing, which can be a problem for those who must wear them continuously to treat an ongoing chronic condition, such as chronic nausea due to (e.g.; chemotherapy), anxiety disorder, etc. I later purchased the traditional knitted ones (similar to the 'Sea Band'), and am able to wear them all the time with only minor irritability. However, since the knitted ones tend to dull and fray especially when used constantly and for sleeping, it's not a bad idea to have a pair of Psi Bands to wear when you're out in public!

Too Small
I am heading on a fishing trip in a week or so and get motion sick very easy. I purchased these as an option instead of taking medications. I am sorry to say they are to small for my wrists. They seem to be made for a woman only and wish I would have known that prior to purchase. My daughter now plays with them and uses them as braclets. Guys be careful if you buys these they may not fit.

Shifty
I've been really sick with my pregnancy and I had the fabric sea bands during my first pregnancy but I didn’t like that I would have to take them off when I showered or washed dishes. I thought I would give these a try. I hate them because I can never keep them in place. They are constantly shifting around and I’ve tried them everything to keep them in place. I wouldn’t waste your money on these unless they come up with something to keep them in place.
