I ordered this hope it would allow me to find the ring I dropped into the air vent on the floor. I was skeptical I'd be able to maneuver this easy enough to get to where I needed but after a little trial and error I found my ring.The endoscope uses an external battery and wifi module. I had to download the app from the app store first. Then i connected to its wifi signal. Once i did that, i had a video stream from the endoscope to my phone. (Galaxy s9)I wish the light at the end was better and it would be fantastic if the camera was able to focus more closely. Aside from that, it is everything i needed. Strongly recommended.

I am using it to check the contact between some electrodes in a test unit. It is nice to have control over the brightness of the light. I like the long chord that allows you to use it for very distant locations. Easy to set up with the wifi mode. I haven't used all the accessories but it is nice to have them just in case. If had to add anything, would be to have some sort of control over the focus.

I purchased this for Inspecting vent and, routing wire through walls. The camera only focuses ar q.t inches, plus or minus a quarter. It has very, very poor depth of feild. If you get something at the focal point the image is very clear, and the adjustable light works well.

I purchased this to look down a drain and to see into my gutters to make sure they were clear. Easy to use. Worked well. Instructions were obviously written and translated because there are typos and poor grammar, but you can figure it out

This camera has the semi rigid cable so its pretty easy to position it for use. It has the water proof lens cover for use if you need to look for something in a wet environment, Nice. The camera has a lot of uses. I've checked my heating and A/C vents in the house, checked inside a wall to see the condition of some wiring and pipes. I know I'll get a lot of use when working on my car and truck as well. For the price its a good little camera with decent image quality. It even has some connectors for retrieving items form places like drains or vents. Nice unit that will help you get things done.
