This was rather easy to put together. I have spray varnished 4 coats to each section for weather protection. I like the natural wood color and scent.One major design problem. The bottom that holds all the pickets in place is solid, therefore, not allowing drainage of rain. I had to drill small holes in the bottom of each space for water drainage. Standing water can cause mildew, rot, bug breeding, cracking the wood in frozen Winter. This fence should come with stainless steel drainage tubes.
