Maria Holic Volume 01: Special Omnibus Edition

I bought this on a whim and while at 1st I was aghast at the blatant verbal abuse and sadism, I suddenly realized it's meant to be taken in a farcical way. Even so, victims of bullying & anyone with Stockholm Syndrome should avoid this series. I would also caution against letting anyone under 16 read it, or those who are easily offended by sarcastic wit (Related - People who grew up in the Flathead Valley in NW Montana do not understand sarcasm or dry humor, and are easily offended by it. Source: personal experience). But I digress. I haven't laughed this much & this hard in a long, long time. This. This story reminds me of me & my bestie & other friends & family bantering back and forth with one-liners & zingers straight to the heart. I loved it! I am going to buy the 2nd omnibus tomorrow.
