Great player !
This is my second Zappiti media player, and I'm very happy with it. Handles all videos formats I throw at it very well. Recognizes HDR 4K source material as well.Minor faults:1. Maneuvering the setup and customization settings takes a little getting used to. That being said, they are full of options for those with specific needs.2. Manually looking up an unrecognized video takes a little getting used to3. Specific method to identify DVD's and Blu Ray's of episodic shows takes some getting used to and is not completely intuitive. These are minor quibbles with what is otherwise a great media player. I have also received solid customer support from them when I have a question. The player is also easy to network with my other one, but I would say definitely plan on having a wired network if you want to cross-stream titles.Output options and USB ports to attach external drives to are plentiful. Wireless network acquisition is problem-free and plenty fast if you are just accessing your cover art and movie database information. There is a local option so if there is no internet, you can still view your media files. The title presentation UI is great. One caveat - even with the power off, as I understand it, you need to manually unmount an internal hard drive before removing it, using the Settings - Storage and USB menu. Make sure you turn the cursor feature on, maneuver over the drive, and unmount it. Then power down and remove the drive. Apparently, if you don't, the drive can become corrupted. I'm not sure if you have to do that with USB- attached drives as well.

Not worth the money.
This unit is worth about half asking price in my best estimate because of the low level of software functionality of this player. KdLinks has better software if that tells you anything. I was really disappointed to find that this is a one size fits all player that also goes by the name "Dune" and others.

One of he best players on the market
Name it and the zappiti media player does it perfectly! I bought so I can stream mkv and iso files from my NAS server with no hassles. One of the best selling point for this player it's the fact that the picture and audio are top notch and the media center is the best on the market. It now support bluray menus and there isn't been a movie that I tried and the menu failed. The only thing we are waiting for now is the FORCED SUBTITLE support.Reading the other review above, the reviewer mentioned that this a dune product but it's not. It just shows that they don't what they are talking about. Dune used zappiti media center until Zappiti decided to make their own players which essentially meant a split with Dune.
