These are great
These tongue pads are a true multi-purpose life saver. One of my feet is bigger than the other and it always slips and slides in my running shoes. Adding these tongue pads keep my foot firmly in place back to the heel. I also find them very useful if I ever have pain or discomfort on the top of my foot due to over tightening the laces or over doing my exercising. Apply these and the top of the foot is then padded for great comfort. They apply very easily, stay in place even if you sweat and when I did need to remove them from one pair of shoes they were easy to remove as well. Such a great product at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Allowed me to wear shoes that were a size too big
I was lucky enough to stumble across this one day while browsing through other items, but I'm very happy to have found them! Didn't know they existed before. The only reason I bought some (got the extra large) was because I have a few pairs of loafers that are too big for my feet but I've held on to them (really liked the shoes, stupid purchasing decision). After putting one of these in them, they feel just about the right size now and I can actually use the shoes! Very happy.I also have a destination wedding in Cancun coming up and we bought shoes for the guys in another country. We did our best size wise, but assuming some of them will be a little too big, we're going to bring these to fill any gaps. Should do the trick.

Cheap quality
Adhesive is very thin, top material feels like a cotton swab and has a tendency to fray. Taking the adhesive stickers off the back can be challenging, and if your finger touches the adhesive, you'll pull the adhesive entirely off the back of that section of the tongue pad, leaving patches that are of the top material. They overall aren't work buying unless you're on a tight budget. Probably better off with suede topped tongue pads that are very much worth the extra cost.

Life Saver for Narrow, Flat Feet
Up until a few days ago I had no idea such a thing even existed. I’m very glad I discovered these.I am a man, who wears a 12 or 12.5 B width work boot. I also happen to have very flat, skinny feet. Very tough finding a shoe that is even remotely close to being comfortable, but these help bridge that gap.I had to use a few of them on my current boots. One down further for the top of my foot, one up higher toward the curve into the ankle, and then cut another to bridge both sides of the top pad. Honestly it’s the only way I can tighten my boots up without the leather touching before it is snug. I’ve lived with loose boots for the 15 years or so that I’ve been wearing them for work. My most current boots are the 9 inch height Thorogoods in B width, which is why I needed so many. My only complaint is that these aren’t thick enough. I didn’t want to double them up because I’m not convinced they’ll hold together for 12+ hr work days. For my 6 inch boots I only used one cushion, but they’re red wings, compared to my taller Thorogoods. If they made these thicker, and out of leather, I’d buy a whole pallet full. That’s my reason for the 4 star rather than 5. I’m sure they’re intended for women to use for tennis shoes or dress shoes that aren’t used and abused like a work boot.If you share the curse of being a tall guy with skinny feet, give these a shot.No longer are the days of wishing they made women’s width shoes for long footed men!

So glad to find these, as I use them with every pair of shoes
I use a lot of these, as I almost always have to pad-out shoes that otherwise fit fine. I have an unusually shallow foot, and there is always extra space in the area over my instep. Like even with 3 fingers slipped under the shoe-front still the shoe is loose. I double and triple the pads if needed, and usually I end up with a comfortable fit. They stick like iron, and are still faithfully attached to decades-old shoes. I was delighted to find them on Amazon—and cheap!—because I can’t find them anywhere in my town (except one shop, for $10 a pair). I got 7 pairs for just over $10 on Amazon.

Finally comfort and safety all in one.
My work shoes can often bother the top of my foot where the lace comes across. I have quality arch supports and insoles so it is upsetting to find that the laces can become the cause of my discomfort. I found that loosening the laces helped a little but that didn't seem like the safest option. After adding the tongue pads I no longer have discomfort. And I believe my shoes are now safer for work because I can tie them firmly. I recommend placing the pads directly under the area where the laces come across not any further down.
