Happy to find this yarn
I was looking for this colorway to finish my scarf. I am so hapy I've found it here. I love this yarn and especially its colors, have used it a lot when it just came out to the market. Now it's become a rare find, especially if one needs a specific color to finish a project. Very nice yarn, soft to the touch, bright colors, beautiful color gradations and sheen.

beautiful color gradient
I am delighted with this yarn, the color is fabulous, just the right blend of deep fall hues for a small cowl I am knitting. The yarn is a roving type so it's very soft to the touch, you just need to be careful while working up your piece to avoid fraying the yarn. I use either metal straight needles or bamboo circular, depending on the effect. The pattern I'm using recommends a size 6 needle but, I want a looser more open stitch, so I'll be using a size 9 circular needle to avoid any seams on this piece. Wonderfully soft and the perfect color for fall. I would recommend to anyone wanting to experiment with this type of yarn.

Texture of the yarn, plus the vivid colors of this skein are exceptional.

Nice, inexpensive roving yarn, unexpected stripes, thoughts on using this yarn
I love Unforgettable yarn and use it regularly in projects, including hats and scarves, and soft enough for baby blankets too. I think this yarn produces projects that look decidedly upscale, with a look and feel of quality. It feels soft and a bit fuzzy, but also has this subdued, gorgeous sheen. The colors in the finished project look a little different depending on the lighting. That said, I was initially disappointed with the "Stained Glass" yarn. The photo makes it look like it works up in a rainbow, with more purple. Instead, it worked up with a variety of stripes, in every color imaginable, but all of which could be described as stained glass colors, and despite the variety of colors, they all harmonized well.Basically, it was not what I expected, but the result was lovely anyhow. I used this yarn to make an infinity scarf for a young woman, and she loved it, loved the stripes and colors. (pictured)THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS YARN:** This is a roving yarn, which means parts of the yarn will be thicker than others, from a slight bulky feel to a thread. The threads are strong, but sometimes I'll do a double stitch when the yarn is extra thin, such as placing two double crochet in the same stitch, making sure to catch both stitches together when I crochet the next row. I love Unforgettable roving yarn because it gives my projects a wonderful texture, with beautiful stitch definition.** From personal experience, lot number does make a big difference. Check that you have enough for your project.** This is a wonderful yarn, but it is also inexpensive. As such, one does find knots. With the Stained Glass yarn, transitioning to another color was easy and not obvious. With colorways that flow more subtly, one could end up with obvious transitions.** It's not too difficult to pull this yarn apart, especially if it's been used over and over (the more you tear it out and start over, the less stable the yarn becomes). In other words, be careful not to make mistakes -- or at least too many of them!** This yarn will tangle. It likes to stick to itself. Beginners in particular might find this frustrating. Because it sticks to itself, it can make ripping out stitches difficult/unpleasant/impossible. I've been trying to talk myself into balling the yarn, instead of using the pull from the center. Balling is a pain. But so is untangling. All that said, I love this yarn. While it has its issues, it's worth it for the beauty and softness. It's so soft, the colorways so beautiful and rich, and every finished project I give as a gift is always greeted with pleasure. I hope I've been helpful!

Beautiful colors, and super soft/light!
I do love this yarn - only giving it four stars because it does tend to twist a bit while working, making sections pretty thin - this didn’t affect my finished piece in a negative way, though. It’s also a little slippery, being so soft and only one-stranded.The colors are GORGEOUS and I love that there’s a fairly gradual change in colors - makes it fun to work with and makes amazing designs! I just finished, washed, and dried a poncho for my mother-in-law (pictured: color - “tidal”) and used almost 4 skeins with a 6.50 hook. Now I’m working on one to (hopefully) sell with the color “sunrise” and I ordered 5 skeins in case I want to add fringe.Word to the wise - stick this in your cart, but hit “save for later” and check back for sales. The skeins of “sunrise” were $3.30 for just over a day then went back up to nearly $9, I think Michael’s sells them for ~$5 unless they’re on sale.

Challenging
This skein of yarn had many places where the yarn varied greatly in the weight of the yarn......yarn was very thin then it was very heavy.Hard to crochet with this yarn for a small project and would be difficult for a beginner crocheter.

Disappointing.
The yarn was broken and tied, also twisted up on itself , causing knots. I have used this before and been happy. Not what I expected.
