This battery shell works perfectly. I have an old Bendix/King KX-99 in my go bag that I’ve been using for about 20 years. For as irregular as I use the radio, this is a much better option than replacing the dead rechargeable battery. I put some Energizer Lithium AA’s in it, made sure it worked (perfectly, as expected), then disconnected from the radio and tossed in the bag. The lithium batteries last a few years in storage and ready when I need it. This is the perfect solution for me and works great!
