Disappointed
I ordered my first one and only received the scope. After an hour of explaining the description on here to amazon, they agreed to assist me in the processing the return and ordering a second one for the same price (the price had changed drastically from the time I ordered the first one to the time I received it).I returned the first one and got the second one in the mail only to find out that it wouldn't turn on. I returned the second one also and requested a full refund. We had purchased our eggs through eBay. They arrived shortly after our first incubator order (which contained only the scope) arrived. We kept the eggs in a styrofoam chest box with a heat lamp and some damp towels for moisture. We manually turned the eggs twice a day and dampened the towels daily. We had an order of 6 eggs, the seller kindly added 2 extra eggs for a total of 8 eggs. 7 out of the 8 eggs developed nicely under the heat lamp!My son got the experience of hatching out his own eggs with me only needing to spend $10 at Walmart for the ice chest and $8 for the heat lamp on amazon!

Your ordering an incubator with a scope attachment and all they sell you is the scope attachment which is useless. At least if I
I had the same problem as another user. The description clearly says it's "R-Com Pro Mini and EZ scope" and then you order it and the receipt says the same thing, but the box is only the EZ scope.Your ordering an incubator with a scope attachment and all they sell you is the scope attachment which is useless. At least if I only had the incubator I could make it work, but instead I just have a scope to look at the empty space in my wallet and the eggs that can't be hatched.

Real life Science
This has been so easy and successful to use. We have used this each season. We use ours at home each year for the last several years. Only thing to be sure is to not help chicks hatch, they take a long time but do not peel shells off. Clear cover allows you to watch them wiggle and crack and hatch! Be sure to use the cover over rollers so shells and such do not gunk it up. That is in the directions. The viewer is great to.

I definitely recommend this if you have the appropriat incubator
I definitely recommend this if you have the appropriat incubator. It allows you to candle with minimal disturbance to the eggs. You can only candle the egg in the middle slot of the incubator, which is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating.

A Good Learning Experience
The EZ Scope was a big hit in my classroom. The children checked on the embryos on a daily basis. We took pictures and videos to load them onto the school web site. A great learning experience for all! Only one of the three eggs hatched. And that one was a day late. The other two chicks were viable until the 21st day then died. I had two other large incubators going and there was an 80% success rate with them so I am uncertain as to why there was a low hatch with the EZ Scope. Even with the low hatch I would certainly buy the EZ Scope again. Compared to the traditional incubators, it is a no brainer!

Great Product
Great product. Easy to use and does the job. Great for educational purposes or just simply to hatch an egg

incubator
This was a very happy item for my kids, requested by them to watch the chicks grow inside the eggs. This is a great incubator for kids to use, v. easy in use. We hatched Rachael and Angel, and got healthy ornamental chicks, which are still healthy and walking around. It helps that the incubator rotates the eggs for you every day and provides much needed humidity, this ensures healthy bird. You just need to add water as needed, even has a signal to let you know. We didn't use the box of the incubator to house the chicks after birth, but it is a possibility.

R-com mini incubator
This R-com incubator worked wonderful. This morning I hatched one egg that was suppose to be an Appleyard duck but it turned out to be a baby chick. I have to be more selective when buying duck eggs from Ebay !. It turned each egg over often, an alarm went off when we were out of water. When the cover was off for a short time the alarm let me know that the temperature was below normal. This incubator worked so well that I ordered a second one without the scope for quail eggs.
