Wonderful pants, they run very small though!
These are great quality pants. I bought two pairs of the men's version for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them, so I decided to get myself a pair (for an emt class I am taking). They are comfortable and I love the elastic waistband. Just a word of caution they run very small. I read the reviews and it says to order one size up from what you usually are.I am usually a size 10 in most everything so I ordered a size 12 to be safe, they were still very small and I had to return them. I ordered a size 14 and they are great! Just be cautious about sizing.

A woman’s fit
I rip the crotch area out of nearly all my pants. The thighs are always too tight and uncomfortable. That is why I always buy 5.11 EMS. They have the perfect fit for athletic body types. I climb roofs and need that stretch and space to move. I love them! The pockets have so many places to put everything you need.

Great pants for paramedics!
Great pants for the long legged woman, I got the long pant version as I'm 5'11" and size 6 (normally a 4 but other reviews said they fit a bit small so I ordered one up) and the fit was near perfect which can be very difficult for a tall woman ordering womens pants. Most designers seem to think the taller the woman the wider the pants when it comes to work wear, but these pants are great for my body type (athletic/not too slender and tall built) Love the adjustable waistband - it was set a little tight but the adjustable option made that irrelevant! And perfect for my paramedic training program as the pockets are very convenient on the thigh and can hold a lot and very durable and are pretty comfy. I haven't worn them a lot yet but thus far a great buy!

Exactly what I was looking for.
These pants are so worth every penny that you pay for them.Thick, durable and comfortable.I do agree that they run a little small in the waste.I do love that they stretch.

Excelent quality for the price.
I'm 5' 7" 140 lbs, hourglass figure. I bought a 6 long. They were a little tight until I did a few squats. Length is perfect. They should be pretty comfortable after I break them in. Purchased for EMT training. Planning on purchasing a second pair.

2 sizes up is a MUST
These pants are amazing once you FINALLY find the right size. But sizing is totally inaccurate. Don't do what I did and not listen to what other people said about ordering 2 sizes up from your normal. I'm usually a size 8 in most women's pants but am a 12 in these. Ordered a 10 at first and tried wearing them for a whole shift and they left a bruise on my hips. If they could size them right I would have given the highest rating though because they are so comfortable and durable.

Great EMS Pants
I'm a college EMT and purchased these pants specifically for medical volunteering at the Boston Marathon with the additional expectation that I would be working Commencement (where we aren't supposed to wear jeans as we typically do when on call) and transporting EMS in summer '14.I looked at both Amazon reviews and 5.11 reviews of these pants to try to figure out what size I should get. Most people said order 1 to 2 sizes up. I wear anywhere between a 2 and a 6 (2 tends to be in clothes designed for women, 6 in clothes designed for teens/early twenties females), so I decided I would get a 4. Most people said the regular length ran short, so I hoped that I wouldn't have to hem them. I'm 5'2", and the regular length is a normal pant length for me. The size 4 was the perfect choice--they're only a bit big in the waist (a VERY common problem for me and often much worse than in these pants), falling just above my hip bones, and big enough in the hips and thighs that all of the pockets are still useful. And boy, are the pockets useful. I crammed 2 cups of trail mix (in a ziploc) in each pocket at the Marathon. More conventionally, I can put my keys, my phone, a phone charger, gloves, and pens in the pockets and still have plenty of space for more. I miss these pockets when I wear regular pants. I also really appreciate the reinforcement on the back of the pant cuff, the smaller loops on the outside of the large belt loops (much easier to use with a carabiner keyring), and the internal dividers in the largest pockets.I haven't had trouble with the snap coming undone the way others have reported. The water resistance has been good for light rain so far, but I haven't seen how that will hold up after washing.I haven't had the misfortune of trying to wear men's EMS pants (which most women say is an unfortunate experience at best), so I can't fully appreciate the fact that these are designed for women, but I think they're fantastic.

Construction is great, runs small
Pockets & material were great, but they were super tight in the thighs/butt area. I later tried the 5.11 TDU pants & they fit MUCH better.
