I put this music on for my five birds and they all come out to listen. I also noticed a bunch of birds flocking to the tree outside my house when I played it. Seems that they came to listen also. And it is highly relaxing to my little doggie as well, and since she usually falls asleep when I play it, I put it on the other night when she was nervous about the thunder, and it relaxed her.

My cats seem to enjoy the music (they also like Mozart) but I use this CD when I do yoga, or sometimes as background music. Perhaps I'm part feline. The pace of the music is in between adagio and andante - it never speeds up or slows down - which makes it ideal for exercise, cat naps and people naps. The volume is also steady. Even if you don't care for the music, the CD couldn't be anything other than relaxing for pets. Meow.

Love the info in the insert too
Use this in my pet grooming salon. Notice calmness in self and some of dogs and cats grooming. Love the info in the insert too! Wish there were more than three songs but I put it on a repeat loop.

Great cd - recommended
I played the cd for my 17-year-old cat who spends a lot of time in one room on her cushion. She and I both enjoyed the music very much.

Another good CD in the animal healing range, and can be used in healing with animals, this one is for using with crystals, but is a very relaxing CD to play to calm and relax animals.....and people too!

Any relaxation music would do
Any relaxation music would do as well as this, possibly a lot cheaper as well. It did however show me that dogs and cats respond to relaxation type music
