INJURIES FORCE NEW SOLUTIONS
A recent injury made an aide to opening jars necessary for my house. In the space of 4 days I made 3 purchases....all returned as useless. I ordered this because it looked like something I would have designed for myself. I just hoped it would work! No worries! It works beautifully. I have easily opened everything I could lay my hands on...I even tried it on the Tabasco, and then, Listerine...type you have to squeeze and turn. Love, love, love it. Intend to buy one for the car for travel...discovered I need one there, too!

I recommend this opener
I have used this jar opener since the day I received it. I have a lot of trouble opening jars. I use hot water, rubber bands and I bang on the rim. Now I simply pull out this jar opener and in one turn the jar is open. Thank you so much. I am just waiting for the next time I buy a larger container to see if this will fit around. I recommend this opener and I am very happy with it.

We use it an average of 3 times a week and love it.
As we get older it seems that jars and bottles are extremely hard to open. We purchased this originally for my 79 year old mother. Once we had an opportunity to use this ourselves we ordered another for us. We use it an average of 3 times a week and love it.

Good Material - Only a fair design
Well-made of good material however there is a design flaw. If opening a larger jar (pickles etc) the device must be engaged at the maximum size; when doing so the handles are too far apart to grip.. Nonetheless it did open the lid so I'll end up keeping it however this issue will occasionally be troublesome.

The product does not maintain it's grip very well on the cap when trying to open a jar.

Effective and fast means of opening jar.
Opens jars much smaller than the electric jar opener and much faster. You also must hold the jar tight, and leather glove works if needed.

I like this jar opener
I like this jar opener. For the first time, I did not prepare enough to grab the jar and spilled some olives inside. However, it works every time after that without asking my husband to open a jar.
