Zip open the lid of your Gearbox and immediately you will notice the yellow FIBERSPINE rod. This composite rod runs the length of the bag and is connected to a padded shoulder strap at both ends. When the bag is loaded up the weight is evenly distributed across the shoulder. The benefits of this construction are that your bag will now be comfortable, will not sag in the middle and will last longer due to less strain on the zippers.
