It's OK.
I bought this jacket and the matching pants.I like them. They look sharp and are VERY warm. There is a scratchy part (stitch) in one of the layers.I had thought the water proof layer would be removable and I'd be able to keep the heat layer so the venting would work as the days got harder. That is not the case.FYI - Trail side removal of the lining of the pants requires you remove your boots and the pants to do it.All in all I am very happy with the product, it looks sharp and is very warm. I am a bit disappointed with the layer configuration options as here in AZ the days start out pretty cold and move into quite warm as the day goes on.I would buy again, though, this will mostly be my "winter" riding gear. The value is good compared with other options.

Excellent year-round protection
Impressive quality. Looks and feels great. Very comfortable with a lot of great features and pockets (front phone pocket is tiny and a bit silly). Somehow I got mine really cheap too! Stoked!

QC defect or quality overall
Great delivery time. I really wanted to like this jacket, however the zipper broke off of the left air vent on the front of the jacket, and if this was just an isolated incident that wouldn't be such a big deal, but I'm having the same issues on the pants as well the clips for the adjustment strap broke off without even pulling hard on the adjustment strap. I really like the jacket the way looks the way it feels it feels great however this is a concern maybe it was just a QC defect. If you want I can send you pictures of the jacket and a broken zipper as well.

Good product about his price
The product is fine about your price.Again the shipping box was very big, if they send you 5 jackets in their box. Please dont send in big boxes, is better in a small and thin box.About the quality I will check on road and off road, maybe i can write some in a couple of month.

BEST Value as a Dual Sport or Lite Adventure Jacket!
So, I bought this back in May 2015 for my cooler rides on my heavily modded XR650L Lite Adventure bike . I had posted my review of this jacket on another vendors Amazon page which is now gone... The other day, after a cold, windy long ride I accidentally was off center as I came riding into my shop with a fairly narrow door (which I've a hundred times) and caught the arm of my Akito Desert Jacket which tore the upper arm apart pretty back. It would have done this to any of my jackets so this is no reflection on the jacket which I have found to be one of the BEST values available anywhere as a Dual Sport or lite adventure jacket (I also got the pants)... The jacket feels a bit heavy especially with all of it's liners (Gortex & Thermal) but is, none the less very comfortable overall. At 6' 1" 235lbs I found the XL just roomy enough for all liners when needed as well as two thin, long sleeve layers underneath... The armor package included with this is OK, not that much different from VERY expensive jackets with supposedly better armor... My only real complaint which I fixed by taking the jacket to a professional seamstress, was that the female Velcro around the wrists weren't exactly in the right place when I pulled both liners and wore shorty tactical style gloves (my favorite, sort of like the older MX gloves of the 80's & 90's)... Just not long enough when I wanted to cinch more tightly around naked wrists - Easy, low cost fix! I have worn & washed this jacket now over probably 50 or more Dual Sport rides and it looks like new every time it comes out of a gentle dryer cycle! OK, maybe I have one other very minor issue and that is the elastic belt, integral to the jacket... It just has very wimpy elastic and I wish for a more snug fit EVERY ride... Overall I feel I got a pretty good deal on the English (England) designed Enduro jacket at around $180... I was thinking about getting another one since I damaged the one I have. Imagine my pleasant surprise to discover that it is now at a lower cost today Black Friday 2016... BTW, I also like the "Desert" distinction having raced and ridden the So Cal Desert, Barstow to Vegas and so on but truth is, this jacket is a little too hot 80f degrees or higher, it's flow thru ventilation being OK but not great... Colder temps even down into the 30's this jacket works wonderfully with the right layers and it's liners installed properly... FYI
