These are great...my pot lids are in storage. Just don't allow the flame from a gas stove to hit them because they turn black.

I am Italian and cook pasta all the time...this product changed my life....no more boil over when cooking pasta! It is amazing! I use it everytime I cook something that requires boiling and never do I get a spill. Love love it! Well thought out design and so pretty!

It works the best for pasta. Can have larger flame, the cooking is faster.I was worried that on a gas stove, with 8'' pots, the edges will get damaged. They do not.I tried it with milk, but I would not recommend it for milk.It looks pretty good too, kitschy. What I needed.

This item really has resolved a big roommate issue. He always makes a morning pot of Indian tea using only milk and it boiled over 90% of the time. With this boil over prevention lid, it's been clear sailing and no more finger wagging.

Haven't used this product yet because it is too small for most of the pots that I would use it on.

It does exactly as I hoped. Even if I have the simmer exactly right, boiled carbohydrates still always boil over on my stove. This even keeps rice covered without a boil over.
