Worth it
Worked well for us. Easy enough to use. Can potentially make your curtain look a bit odd and most curtains arenโt going to be big enough to put one on both sides, but I think thatโs a curtain defect. Small price to pay to prevent water damage with minimally invasive solutions.

Must have, life saver
I can tell you I love this. I have been using it for a year now and it's still holding up just fine. It works great for a stand up shower and for bathtub. I wish I had this years ago. It keep the water from going on the floor. It is one size, but it is long enough.

Easy to install, it works.
These were easy to install, just as the instructions said. But they are not flush to the shower wall. I have a shower liner and an outer, washable shower curtain. I use double shower hooks. So, to install this, I had to unhook the liner from the 2 end hooks and use a different shower hook. These shower hooks were placed between the double hooks to hold the liner in place. It worked out well. Stretches the regular shower curtain a bit. But the regular curtain doesn't have to be against the wall, it's the liner that keeps the water in. It's not quite what I thought it would be. Still it does hold the liner ends in place and inside the tub.

What is needed if not using glass shower door.
These are what was needed to keep the water off the floor. I didnโt want a glass door on our new walk in shower and these proved that I could make a shower curtain work.

What a great little gadget to keep the curtain closed
This is one of those strange Amazon finds that you come across when you are looking for something else - but once you find it - you love it! My kiddo is terrible about making sure the shower curtain stays closed and we end up with water on the floor. This simple, clever little gadget is excellent at keeping the curtain against the wall and keeping the water in the shower stall where it belongs. I imagine it might be hard to use in an RV or small shower stall if you try to use both sides but in a regular shower it works fine (you could at least use one side in an RV or small stall). It does affect how far back you can draw the curtain so keep that in mind.

Keeps Water and Liner, or Curtain IN Your Tub/Shower
We've used Slip-X splash guards in our tub/shower for more than 20 years. You hang them on the shower curtain rod on the same rings that are holding your shower curtain (shower curtain + splash guard); if you use a decorative shower curtain AND a plastic liner curtain, the guards are the THIRD layer on the same rings with the guards facing the tub enclosure (shower curtain + liner + splash guard). The splash guards curve inwards towards the tub and hold the liner, or the shower curtain (if you don't use a liner) close to the end walls of the tub, keeping the water spray from getting on your bathroom floor AND helping to keep your liner/curtain from billowing outwards. The guards are fairly sturdy and stand up to many years of use, but I like to keep a set of guards on hand in my linen cupboard because eventually we'll sling the curtain open, or closed and crack the guard at one of the holes provided for the curtain rings. NOTE: Your results may vary, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE TWO-PACK OPTION (which has disappeared since I placed my order just a few days ago). I ordered the TWO-PACK, but only got ONE pack (a two-guard set of a left and a right) at the HIGHER TWO-pack price. I now have to return the SINGLE pack I received that I'm being charged $15.99 for and order two SINGLE packs at the $9.99 each price.

No more water on floor
We recently replaced our bathtub with a low-entry shower to help an elderly person with balance issues maintain their independence. We opted against doors due to the cleaning difficulty. However, our shower curtain would blow out of the enclosure, causing water to spill onto the floor. We tried magnetic weights, but they were too strong and clung together, making it challenging to close the curtain without bending down to separate them, which is difficult for someone with balance issues. Eventually, we used one of these splash guards on the faucet side, along with stick-on clear clips available on Amazon, to secure that side of the curtain to the floor. We retained the magnetic weights at both ends of the curtain. These splash guards were straightforward to install: just slip them onto the shower hooks, removing one hook and attaching it to the hook on the curved end of the guard. While these splash guards alone can prevent water from splashing out of the shower or tub, we needed something to keep the curtain down and inside the low tray. The only drawback I've noticed is that the splash guards also prevent the shower curtain from being fully drawn open past the splash guards which extend the distance of 3 shower hooks. This could pose an issue for small shower openings, particularly if used at both ends of the curtain.
