Be aware of your key size on existing arbor.
Exactly what I needed! Work like a million bucks. Keyway groove had to be delicately modified to accept a 5mm Key. Not the end of the world, Mic/file and done. Couple minutes in the vise and it's installed on the arbor, with Key and spinning smoothly under my new adjustable, segmented belt. The difference in vibration on my band saw is incredible. Bad pulley, plus old V belt to true, new pulley and new belt, the result of the effort, was extremely gratifying. Great pulley, .63 fit like a glove, on my .627 arbor.

Great product, but made in China.
Well, it's a great product but It seems I ordered the wrong size. I don't understand why, in the United States of America, we tolerate the use of metric parts, even worse, mixed and matched SAE & metric parts. But alas, the engine shaft I have is metric and the pulley I ordered is SAE / Imperial. I measured the engine shaft at 12/16ths, but it seems to be a 20MM shaft because a a 12/16ths (.75) is just a hair too small. I'll put it in my parts box, I'm sure I have a motor or something around here with a .75 shaft that I'll inevitably use with it. The pulley itself is very strong, its well coated, but I'm very disappointed that its made in china. Its good quality though. Pity. Off to the hardware store. -2020/07/25 Update The hardware stores don't sell metric parts! Even Amazon only has two suitable pulleys and they are very expensive; unacceptable! American ingenuity will not be hindered so easily! I took it to a family member who ground the bore diameter out to roughly 20mm and it now fits, if a bit tight. Since there is no keyway on the engine shaft, the keyway is irrelevant and the setscrew will be adequate for its intended use of powering a supply fan. Good steel quality, it took a little bit to grind it down.

Works nicely, but you'll probably need to do some prep on them first.
Got a pair of these to replace the worn pulleys on a Sears Craftsman table saw circa 1975-1980. On the good side, these are VERY nice, heavy duty pulleys. I have no doubt they'll last the rest of the life of the saw. They are solid and powder-coated. On the bad side, they're VERY precisely made, and on an older system you'll need to do a bit of work to get them to fit. So... got some notes for you that might help. 1. Getting the old pulleys off required a blowtorch, penetrating oil, and a whole lot of cussing. The interior pulley especially took a while to get off since there was so little room to work in. (Being left-handed was a decided plus.) t wasn't quite rusted in place, but it was pretty close. The interior key piece took a lot of oil and hammer.screwdriver work to remove. 2. You WILL need to polish the shafts if you've got ANY sort of corrosion on them. These pulleys are very tight, and a thin coat of rust will mean the difference between it fitting and it not fitting. And even if you think they're clean, sand them down a bit anyway. (The pulleys ARE tight after all.) 3. You MAY need to sand the INSIDE of the pulley's hole. One had just a bit of overspray from the powder coating inside the center hole for the shaft. Guess what! It wouldn't fit onto the shaft until I sanded that out. 4. 150 grit sandpaper is your friend for both the shafts and the holes on the pulleys. 5. The key pieces, if they're removable, will likely need to be sanded down to remove rust and corrosion also. The interior pulley on my table saw had a key piece that had a very thin layer of oxidation on it - which was enough to keep the pulley from fitting. Would I buy these again? Yes, very much so. The only caveat is that they're precise enough that they may be hard to install on older equipment.

Very well made!
Very high quality pulley. I bought this to use on a 1 1/2 horsepower three phase motor that I purchased for my drill press as part of a VFD conversion. I wanted the smallest diameter pulley possible on the motor, and I thought it would be a challenge to find one that was even close to this small due to the shaft diameter being 7/8". This pulley is perfect though. Overall OD is about as small as you can get with a shaft that big, and the machine work is excellent. The grub screw hole is cut at a slight angle to ensure that the teeth grab onto the key in the keyway, which is a nice touch. Very well made, and exactly what I needed. 5 stars for sure.

A very decent pulley at a GREAT price.
A very decent pulley at a GREAT price... Locally I could only find alloy pulleys, in a pinch I installed an alloy one on my snowblower, it only lasted one season before belt burnt (melted) through it, so I purchased this one as a replacement and I expect it to last for a long time... My only complaint, but one that is common with most pulleys is that they only have one setscrew and it's on the key way... In my install that single setscrew onto the key would allow the pulley to wander ever so slowly up and down the shaft over time, causing the belt to go out of alignment... Solved that by drilling and tapping in a second set screw as there is plenty of material to do so on this pulley's collar, problem solved...

As described. Received in 2 days. TB Woods pulley is rock solid. Stop looking & buy their cast iron pulley!!
I want to start off that I purchased 3 pulleys from TB Woods. This pulley arrived on time. The packaging was good. It was well protected so if you are worried about arriving damaged, you can relax. The measurements were exact as described on the listing. Installation was smooth. Set screw works flawless. This pulley has been running for almost 2 months and it is running great. You can't argue with the price point. I tried to purchase a similar size pulley locally and they wanted $22. I paid a quarter of that. This cast iron pulley from TB Woods will blow away any of the Aluminum pulleys. TB Woods will get my business from here on.
